So far, I couldn't be happier. After quitting cigs, a year later I am a ++ sized gent. When I looked, someone has switched all my clothes in my closet to someone else's size. Thus, I had no suit to see my only son be wedded. Upon arrival at Men's Warehouse, with my wife in tow, young salesman Chris took me under his wing. He didn't do the measure here and there bit that the XL / Big Tall places did. It was try this, no.. try this,... nope this and there and that's good, so we had a place to start.
Chris had found me a great sized suit, w/ right color and fabric. Then Chris had me looking at shirts. I didn't want what they had until he found the single best shirt for my earth tone suit. A burnt burgundy that I worried I would be sweating in. He immediately said, we can make it a short sleeve.
Well, to finish up, he didn't pressure me. We found a great suit. Some nice shirts. A fantastical phantasmagorical tie and kerchief and my first suspenders.
Then the nice lady came out to make the adjustments so a suit looks good on a person. So, after being marked up to tuck in the places where the suit needed alterations, the freaking jr. manager arrived and said he couldn't make the alterations happen by the wedding in 5 days. His card had not been advanced to show when the next alterations were available. He apologized and I was disappointed. The sweet tailor lady was in a tizzy. Words were quickly said and she came to me and said she could do the alterations for me.
Although, the problem was I was short on time and the jr. manager had not made his full time slots shown to all, this nice alteration lady said she would take my suit to her own home and she would have me ready to go well before my son's wedding date. This nice sweet lady made the entire sale. If they don't give her a raise, then they are falling down on their promises to us men.
Of course, I tipped her before we left.
Men's Warehouse, your reputation was held up by the lady in the back who spoke with a heavy accent. She's probably the least paid and doesn't make commission as the salesmen might. She, above all in the store, deserves recognition. (and another tip when I go back for my final fitting!)
My salesman was pretty darn good, too.
A-1 service above and beyond all expectations.
Thanks, Men's...
Read moreWhere do I even begin. This has probably been one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had in my entire life. I walked into the store in gym clothes, with my girlfriend in the same, and smoothies in our hands, when we were immediately greeted by David. He asked what I was looking for and I told him I had a few weddings coming up and I wanted to get a tailored suit for them. It is the first one I've ever had. He joke and said I hope you don't need it tomorrow. He walked me over to the jackets and goes "well you're not going to be easy to fit, which I laughed again at. I'm 6'1" 230, and I'm definitely not an "off the rack guy." David proceeded to guide me through the jacket, pants, a vest, undershirt, and tie with the knowledge and precision of someone who gas been doing this for a lifetime, never holding anyone sort of judgment against me for my complete and utter lack of knowledge in finer dressing. I've been a bartender my whole life and this has never been anything I've ever done. I felt comfortable and supported and encouraged the whole time, even when i struggled to tie my tie. Once we had all the garments picked out I was scheduled to come back a couple days later to get everything tailored. David was there again, happily greeted me and introduced me to Angie, the tailor. Such an angel! Like a mother would she spun me around, pinned me up, posed me and sized me, all in about 10 minutes and I was done. She was a sweet heart. Exactly 2 weeks later everything was done and I came back for last looks. I didn't call ahead or anything but you guess it, David was there to help me yet again. Assisting me put my vest and jacket on and off, and taking a couple of photos for my family. David, Angie and my experience here have been the absolute best and I can't wait until I need to come back again. Thank...
Read moreSo typically I do not leave reviews on anything. I have maybe done this two or 3 times in my entire life. If I could leave no stars I would. I’m no stranger to men’s wearhouse as I have spent 1000’s of dollars with this company. I’m a finance director and I barely have time for my family, much less to go shopping. My wife decided to take it upon herself to go by there and grab me a blazer with my measurements while I was at work because we where flying out for a wedding the same day, yesterday and I didn’t have time. She walks in with no make up on after getting a spray tan, which I assume they deemed her underdressed. She was immediately greeted like she was below the earth by one gentleman (a while male ) and another gentleman that seemed to be a manager of the store (a black male). They refused to help her, or allow her to look around, because they said without me coming up there to meet her it would be pointless. She mentioned she has my measurements for dress shirts and thought that they would be able to help her, and we just needed something for a last minute wedding. They said all she could get me was a shirt with those measurements. Extremely sarcastic, not willing to help her at all, my wife said she wanted to just look and then they said it was pointless and essentially saw her out. Two things to take a way from this. 1) if I don’t have a wedding I would have personally went to the store myself which neither of the would have enjoyed. Secondly, you don’t treat someone like a underclass citizen that could buy the entire store just to fire both of you because she didn’t look up to par. I have been shopping with this company my entire life. Best believe moving forward I will never...
