Similar to another comment, the marketing and signage here is incredibly misleading and frustrating. There were signs posted on a wall saying that pen sets $9.99 & up were 40% off, with an entire wall of pens behind the sign. To my surprise, at checkout, my pen set was full price. After asking several employees and the manager on duty to check, they reassured me that the pen set was full price. The manager told me that "marketing signs are tricky, because Hobby Lobby wants them to place the sign directly in the middle of the wall" while the cashier asked if there were brands other than Master's Touch on the wall (as Master's Touch were full price). I showed them that the entire wall had ONLY Master's Touch brand pens, but the manager had no solution to this problem and it became clear that the employees weren't really concerned with providing customer service. I should have (and could have easily) been offered the 40% off while they had an employee change or move the signage to advertise the appropriate pen sets. While a closer Hobby Lobby was nice in theory, I will continue to make the drive to American Fork for better customer service. What a bummer

First time shopper at hobby lobby🤔, and I ended up leaving and finding the nearest Dollar tree, I got 90% of everything I was originally looking for at hobby lobby, and with a few tweeks was able to "make an adorable, more 'me' and finished my project EARLY 💯🥇 my grandmother has seven great grandchildren and with the bad allergy and pollen so.... We brought her inside to outside, equiped with solor fans and fairy lights in HUGE pickle jars🥇🥰👼👶🧑‍🍼👩‍🍼🐣🍼🍼🍼🍼🍼🍼 again this was taken in vacation somewhere in Virginia and pollen and wind and thunderstorms can be beautiful but they can also Force elderly and children to go inside and not experience those things and my grandmother always love to talk about the thunderstorms to us! I'm not saying hobby lobby doesn't have a few things that maybe don't sell everywhere else but I would definitely look into using what you find on a walk or make it fun for a project :-)

While staff is young they seem generally kind and as though they want to be kind and helpful. With that said, I’m not sure if it’s the company that puts out the advertising or if it’s done more locally but it’s misleading. We saw the advertisement for Paper Crafts Brand Items and went in search of a matt for vinyl cutting. It clearly states ALL ITEMS it doesn’t state “only these items” as it goes on to highlight some of the available offerings. It says ALL. They charged us full price because they are only selling the highlighted items for 50% off. That isn’t how the AF store has done business for the 15+ yrs we have lived here. I’ll just keep driving next time. I’ve driven this long, it’s no big deal. The problem isn’t about the money, it’s about misleading advertising, making things right for the customer, sign placement, and all around customer service.

Every time I go there the lines are outrageous. Thats fine except when you have the manager Kendri standing around talking to employees that are trying to do their job and check people out. Shes all for calling people up to open more registers. Of course that is after there’s already 10 people line. As a manager it shouldn’t be beneath you to help out when needed and stop distracting employees. I’ve gone 4 times in the last 30 days. Each time she is being paid to hangout. While everyone else runs the show. On top of that the cashiers have better customer service skills than she does. When you ask about a price her response is if you read in small print it says excluded certain items even if the sign is in that specific spot. Per cashier was very empathetic and saying she was sorry. While the “manager” says too bad. Doesn’t even bother to look you in the eye or seem like your time is worth hers. Certain thing might be cheaper here. But it doesn’t make it worth it when your time and money isn’t valued. Try smiling to the customers not just your friends that you’re working with it’ll go along way. However on the positive note there is A teenage girl that works there She definitely earned every penny on her paycheck. She rushed to go get a sign to make sure it was correct. Ask how our day was, smiled,...

Overall TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service.

Went to return items since a plan fell through.

1.The last item I had bought on the receipt was missing a price tag so they had made me wait for so long to find the price, okay understandable. When returning that same item they had me wait so long while grabbing the right people, at last they had someone review the video footage of me buying the item to determine its price! What? They assumed a customer with the receipt a thief??? Terrible. Very upsetting feeling they just won't scan the item or my credit card to find out.

Another item I needed to return on same receipt, they refused to refund it to me. The person who check returns DID it BY HAND, and she miscalculated. To get my $ back for this one item not only I had to go there TWICE with the SAME receipt I bought it with, I had to fight with the manager lady to get MY $ back. The manager kept asking "What is this for?" with a very annoyed tone. Lady, it's none of your business what I bought it for and it's my money and I am entitled to when I follow your return policy.

I shouldn't be responsible for your employees' mistakes or be accountable for. Heck I shouldn't be treated as thief either when I have all the proof of purchasing!!!

Not returning to this...
