We stopped in for lunch, just after 1pm on a Saturday. We enjoy eating at Habit Burger. The restaurant wasn't very busy but it obviously had been because all but maybe one table was dirty. Now, that is obviously because people left their own messes without cleaning up after themselves, but also because the staff hadn't cleaned the tables. I told the staff there weren't any clean tables and she said they were really busy and hadn't been able to clean them. It looked like everyone was helping in the kitchen (6+ people, I think). We cleaned off our own table, after waiting 10 or 15 minutes, and after we ordered and got our food (we were waiting for other people to arrive before we ordered) and had started eating, they started cleaning the tables.
So that was the biggest challenge with this visit. The ordering was done at a kiosk, which is okay with me. You can also place an order with a real person. The food was good and tables finally cleared. I finished my burger and onion rings and my wife took the remainder of her hamburger home to eat the next day. When she finished her burger the next day, there was a hair embedded in the burger, which is not pleasant. I realize this may have been something outside the control of the restaurant but still an unpleasant experience.
We still enjoy Habit Burger, but maybe this location needs additional training on customer service and restaurant management to keep it clean and up to customer expectations. Customers also need to do some cleanup after themselves (nothing the store...
Read moreWe came on Sunday, May 14th in the afternoon, and were the only customers in the store at the time of our arrival. There were several employees working, none of which acknowledged us at the counter for at least two to three minutes until someone came to take our order. We ordered and sat down, then proceeded to wait more than fifteen minutes for our food to be prepared. When the food still was not ready, we got up and went to the counter to inquire, only to find each employee (except for the one chef) to be in their phones, laughing so loudly it could be heard at the back of the restaurant, and our food sitting on top of the counter. I still was not acknowledged by any employee until one of them turned around and I grabbed her attention, asking about our meal. She then grabbed it and gave it over. The quality of the food was as expected from previous visits, other than the temperature being lukewarm, possibly from sitting on the shelf. This was an unfortunate experience where the employees chose to play around with their coworkers instead of paying attention to their customers, and we will not be returning to...
Read moreI'm not sure what's going on with Saratoga Springs restaurants but this one definitely fights for lowest place. I wanted a simple chicken sandwich. Crispy chicken on ciabatta with lettuce tomato and mayo. We waited almost 20 min (3 other customers waiting, so not really busy). I was given a chicken patty wrapped in lettuce- no bread. I didn't have time to wait for a new sandwich so i asked for them to just give me the bread and a side of Mayo. I'll make it myself. I stood there 10 more min and no service. I sat down at my table then noticed the chicken patty that had been given. It was clearly fried hours earlier and reheated by being placed on the griddle. It was dry and burned. I took my "sandwich" back to the register and just wanted a refund. "I'll eat somewhere else". Showing my receipt didn't matter, she refunded only half of what i paid. In all this time of dealing with them, i watched 4 other customers complain about their wrong orders. What a mess this place is! No one knows what they're doing, and there was NO courtesy to be given to anyone trying to eat there. STAY AWAY. GIVE YOUR...
