Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Saratoga Springs

I know a lot of people have issue with the fact that the store runs out of donuts so quickly, but that’s just cause they are soooooo good. And if you want more time to get donuts, I recommend not going on Saturdays as they run out even faster! The donuts are so soft and sweet and genuinely the best donuts I’ve ever had. And the workers there are helpful, friendly, and genuinely great. I’ve talked to them personally since I tend to go alot and I think they are doing a great job with such a small staff! While I read the complaints and I do think each one holds value, I believe that sometimes people forget just how great the store is for what it is. A small donut shop in a small town that is constantly growing, it’s gonna be hard to keep up with the amount of people who come and go, especially when it becomes more and more. As for those who just don’t like the taste, I can say that you have the right to that opinion, cause everyone has different taste. Not only are the donuts delicious but I cannot say enough good about the amazing young woman who went above & beyond for us! We’re visiting from out of state & heard how yummy the donuts were & my daughter wanted to have some delivered (DoorDash). She called to ask about flavors & the different types of donuts. The young woman was SO nice & patiently went through every type of donut, gave recommendations & was never impatient with my daughter’s many questions. She wrote down her preferences so when the DoorDah order came through, she could make sure we got the ones we wanted. When they arrived, we saw she had written a sweet note & taped it to the box as well as adding one of her favorite donuts to the order! Seriously, I would hire this girl in a heartbeat! Great job on the donuts but even better job on choosing awesome employees who make a long travel day...

Avoid Daylight. The price is high and you never really know what you're going to be charged. You'd think it was simple to order a mix of "regular" and "fancy" for one price, but they'll nickel and dime you. For example, if you get 7 fancy and 5 regular you might as well get 12 fancy because that's what you're paying for. I've always paid a different amount every time I've gone and always had the same order. Also, the quality has gone downhill and there are much better options in Saratoga Springs nowadays. And if you have an issue, they will not look out for the customer. The staff isn't trained to let the customer know that "now that you've picked another maple bar it's going to cost X much more" or anything.

I've been a faithful patron to this location since its opened but my family will just head to Lehi Bakery down the street...
