Platte Valley Community Center — Local services in Saratoga

I attended a GIS conference/training seminar here in May of 2018. The building is very nicelyaid out, and nicely designed. I'm not sure when it was built, but certainly looks like it couldn't be more than 1 - 2 years old. There were multiple large areas with the capability of holding numbers in the high hundreds, if not thousands. There was also a theatre capable of holding a few hundred people, with a large stage, high quality audio and video capabilities and comfortable design, with very good acoustic characteristics. The conference center also housed classrooms, large and small for more intimate settings, which in the time I attended, was for smaller more personalised training courses. I'm not from Saratoga, I'm actually from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and I was very pleased with the conference center. Being in such a small town, I had assumed it would nothing like it actually turned out to be. Good job City of Saratoga or whichever entity was responsible for the construction of a top notch...

We were here for a geotechnology conference for three days. The conference rooms were great… The staff very nice. The only thing I would recommend that is in the wonderful, beautiful theater… There is no power anywhere on stage… So we could not use it. If you could enhance this for next time we and others I think would like it, too… are there, that would be wonderful. ...

Always a beautiful place to host meetings, events, or explore resources. The community center has meeting rooms you can reserve and friendly staff who will work with you on set up and specifics! You can meet with Vocational Rehabilitation here once a month and not have to drive into Rawlins! They have a computer lab open to the public with...
