Sausalito Yacht Harbor — Local services in Sausalito

My bride and I lived aboard at Sausalito Yacht Harbor for 15 years (late 80s-early 2000s) on our big, well-maintained and very active classic wooden motor yacht. We were right in the best location in the harbor; ie, the downtown boardwalk. It was a wonderful "golden" era of our lives -and for Sausalito, as well- and we'll never forget it. The community and characters we met there were amazing. Herb Madden and his family have run this run this place for many, many decades and were (are) terrific and very kind to us. Yes, there are strict and enforced rules which we adhered to carefully and respectfully as a member of the "community". Its kewl... walked around checking out all the boats... 80% of them been sitting a while... guessing most were inheritance or the new owners visit but dont know how to sail or impulse buys... lol Some in great shape. Some new owners working and cleaning a few up. But... mostly trophy hideaways from family or beer drinkin hang with your buds sorta boats. I dont think many of these have left the Yacht club. hehehe... so much disposable income in California... hmmm IDEA... I had some surgery and was looking to go see a sailboat ⛵️ at the marina. It was supposed to come with 3 hours of lessons getting to know the sailboat. Because I was in the hospital I was unable to answer some calls. When I approached the marina to see the boat when I could I was Viciously attacked verbally and in writing. First attacked on Facebook and when I blocked the person, they sent threatening text to my cellphone using foul language including the f word. I would never buy or have anything to do with...
