Chu's Market — Local services in Savannah

i bought moldy cheese from this place when i tried to return it not for my money back but for some more cheese I was told that I did not buy that cheese from them. As if I would bring in something bought from somewhere else and try to exchange..I most certainly did buy it from chu's and I should have known that it wasn't their product because it was about four or five of them stacked away from the cheese and I thought that's okay but it's the kind I want as if it had not been stock'd yet [or maybe pulled because it was bad..)but I'm going to tell you this I did buy it there it may not be something you normally carry BUT I MOST CERTAINLY DID GET IT FROM THAT STORE THAT IS THE TRUTH but I left that store with that cheese opened it up the next day and it was bad....I am immediately walked to the store because I live close to it... bc Chus could have handled that much differently but the man got violently argumentative with me I will never go back to this store again and I suggest that you don't waste your time at this excuse for a store☹️😠🙄 update to the owners you were nasty & argumentative and I absolutely bought that cheese from you and your receipts do not say specifically this product is this it's very general like grocery 1.99 etc .. I had no food in my house I bought every bit of that food on that day from Chus... if you didn't sell the cheese why the hell was it in your store---because AGAIN... The product came...

Price hikes are outrageous! They used to charged $10 when I took my meat there to get it cut up. Now they charge .79/lb. which is unfair. They want to punish customers for not shopping with them by the penalizing and overpriced services such as using their meat slicer. Various meats prices fluctuate during the holidays as much as 30%. These stores are in primarily minority communities and they take advantage of low income families. That's why it's important to have competing businesses. I won't go back, I don't care WHAT...

The guy that served me was very rude and unprofessional he didnt have any patience and he cursed at me for not knowing the weight ratio over what I was trying to do.. I was gonna spend 40 dollars but walked out after I was cursed at .. I told the store manager and left immediately I refuse to spend my money where I was disrespected.. I was very nice and courteous as usual..... I don't know what actions was taken and don't care I will never shop there again.. Ladies be careful it could happen to you......
