Horrible customer service. Spoke to the manager (Julie) only to have her scream at me over the phone. DO NOT move here if you are looking for building management that communicates well or at all.
Promises were made during the process of working with a leasing agent and led to my agreement to pay the admin fee. The leasing agent left the company. The lease I then received (after paying the admin fee of $480) did not align with what was discussed during the process of applying - different terms, unit, pricing. Management says they cannot help me with anything the former leasing agent promised. I requested a corrected lease. I called and left messages for weeks and no follow up. They did not send me a corrected lease and now claim I never requested one. I finally spoke to the manager (after being forced to sign a lease with a new apartment building in the meantime due to not being able to get ANY response from this one for over a month) and I was told I never requested anything. They said it was my fault that I was not able to get in touch with them. So to all those looking for an apartment....steer clear. This was an outrageously disrespectful process all around. This company will not take ownership of their own staff and lack the ability to...
Read moreAll-in-all the skylark has been great! Staff is nice, location is pretty good, the only downside I can think of so far is street noise.
The street the building is located on is used by emergency services and some cars use the road to race, so there can be some noise. A church group sings on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings, which wouldn’t be too bad but they honk their horns a lot and have very loud speakers so it can get loud from time-to-time (especially when I have to stay up late to work and want to sleep in a bit).
But it’s not too big of a deal to me. The amenities are great, and It’s pet friendly. The move in process was pretty easy too! There are small blemishes here and there, but other than that the place looks great, and most things that come up are checked out by maintenance pretty fast! The place was recently constructed, but I think they’re going to add some shops or restaurants on the lower floor, which is exciting!
So far it’s been great, and I’m excited to continue living in a...
Read moreI've been living at Skylar apartments for more than a year now and to be honest I love it! compared to other apartment buildings this one is reasonably priced, the apartments are super spacious, the amenities are great and the building manages is super nice. It has very nice view to the Savannah bridge beautiful terrace and the area is pretty safe if you stay on Montgomery street even at night. I cant complain about anything, if something brakes management will come and fix it for you really quick. but not only that, the neighbors are super nice and friendly and the apartments at night are pretty silent. Something that for me is a must is security in a home and this building has plenty of it, you need your fob key basically to access everything in the building. I don't think I will be moving out any time soon unless I need to move out because of a reason that is not apartment related. I would definitely would recommend...
