Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Savannah

Had to wait at the drive thru at least ten min before I could place my order. I think they even forgot I was there. The Mic was left on from the previous car and you could hear all the horse playing going on in the store. The manager was outside smoking a cigarette while the cars was wrapped around the building out into the main street. I was finally able to place my order just to end up getting something entirely different from what I ordered. Once I did receive my order the Chicken wasn't properly prepared it was old, overcooked, burnt, greasy and extra crunchy. I didn't order extra crunchy chicken. I received no napkins with my order and had to get back in the drive thru line only to wait another fifteen min just to get napkins. No sense of urgency. Not even a please or thank you. Drive thru parking lot was fifty... Maybe because it was ten pm at night. Yea that was probably why. I only gave it a one star because I had to give something. I'm not sure what it is with this Popeyes on MLK in Savannah. Every visit for me seems to be getting worst each time I visit. I ordered a freshly cook two can dine meal and the first order that came was old chicken that you can squeeze the grease out of and had turned really dark from sitting under the light I assumed and it was mix with fresh cook chicken. I showed it to the cashier before pulling off from the drive thru and she said I can't take that back after passing it thru the drive thru window, I'll have to let you speak with my manager Erica. When Erica came to the window she apologized for the order and offered to drop fresh chicken and informed me it would take approximately 15 min. I agreed to wait the 15 min and this picture shows what Erica brought out to me personally as I waited in the car. I got chicken that looked to be improperly battered and some of the pieces look like a few from the previous box that was handed back and had been drop back into the grease to be re-cooked and passed off as freshly cook chicken. She as the manager could not have looked in the box to assure that I was getting an order that was fitting to eat. The crispy crust is what some people like the most about popeyes chicken. This place is awful. Had to TRASH everything I got waste of money… This place need to close down so pissed 😡. All the complaints in the reviews shows nothing will change. Customer service is beyond rude , awful, unprofessional no one that works there speaks to greeting you when you walk in customers stand in line for a long time with no one else behind them in line to place a order for a long time. The food looks like crap when you get it burnt and not appealing. At this facility they are all about money not customer’s satisfaction even though you spend your hard earned money for professionalism positive attitudes, fresh appealing food, greetings with smile they don’t care and this isn’t the establishment where you will get it. The Manager parades around and has a don’t care attitude to so no use in talking or complaining with her. It’s way better establishments to eat at that has better expertise in customer service skills, professionalism. Don’t reach out to reply with things will change or even get better. This burnt chicken shouldn’t be served to a dog hard as it is. Should of checked it before getting all the way home cashiers love to hand you you’re bag and disappear. I’m so pissed !!!!!! Had to demand a refund after waiting thirty minutes in the slowest drive thru possible while a staff of at least ten people seemed to be stuck in glue doing nothing at all. When I went inside, they were all just standing around, not packing any orders despite the line wrapped around the building and plenty of chicken sitting ready. The manager said mine was ready and then someone went to go pack it, no thank you. Worst management I've ever seen. I had to repeatedly demand for my money back instead of them just now packing it. What were you doing all this time??? Then, had to wait another 5 minutes while she claimed someone else was getting it and all that person did was come back up with my receipt, look bewildered, and ask how am I doing??? I'd be doing better if one of you would pretend to know how to count and listen at the same time and give me back my money. Why would I want food packed by people standing around playing instead of taking orders and packing the food. I can get Popeyes anywhere, so getting it while I'm in Savannah means nothing.
