Tasty stuff, nice experience! There are a bunch of stands, including at least 3 stands of produce. My 3 year old was very satisfied with the peppers, and we thank the kind vendor for his recommendation. She ate 2 cubanelle peppers while we were there, as well as several cherry tomatoes :)
We also really liked the macaron and pickle vendors; we got the Halloween themed pack of macarons and they were delicious. Also really liked the kosher dill pickle chips, although my husband was less enthusiastic about the spicy pickles. He said they tasted like Sriracha sauce.
The empanadas were OK, but underwhelming. The beef flavor had olives in it, which my husband and mother both dislike. I like them, but I think that should have been pointed out.
It takes place in a parking lot, but there's a small grass area where my daughter and her friend kicked around a ball, and where we sat to eat our lunch. The music was nice, too. Definitely planning...
Read moreNice array of vendors at this large farmer's market. I like supporting our local farmers, but much of this produce is from California, with regular non-organic stickers on them. There should be tighter regulations requiring that the produce to be locally grown.
