A Coastal Lock-n-Key — Local services in Seaside

To say I felt relief and very grateful for meeting Mike is an understatement. My family and I were on vacation to Seaside prior to leaving we had an issue with our Thule cargo box and had to strap it on together because we did not have enough time to fix it. Upon getting to Seaside and being new to the area and not knowing any locksmiths, I randomly chose a nearby locksmith which was the first on the list and closest to my hotel. Unfortunately, they weren't able to help and recommended I reach out to the manufacturer or try two auto centers that were 4.6 miles from me. After getting there they both referred me back to a locksmith. Resuming my search, I Googled locksmiths and began reviewing websites and other info. And A Coastal Lock-n-Key stood out besides one of the car dealers I previously visited had also mentioned him. So I gave him a call and he responded immediately, made an appointment right away. Mike, was very professional and wasted no time attending to the task of fixing what was “impossible” by another locksmith. Highly recommend this place. Last week went to Indian Beach with my son and my little dog, I noticed that I lost my car key and my phone had 5% I wil not have enough time to deal with insurance with that battery so I searched on Google for a Locksmith and thankful Mike got the call life send him to us I explained what happened and let him know that I almost run off battery he told me he will be there in 20 minutes. We wait there he show up and work on the key when he almost done a couple approached and handed my key!!!! So Mike done I ask him if he accept card because I hadn't have cash he told me not and offer me to follow him to town, he back up and drive a truck pass behind me and I back up and put drive and car dies!!!!! So I call him to let him know that I wasn't behind him he return and ask what happen I explained and there just our adventure start. He was calling a friend to explain if he could figure it out what going on with my car he reach someone and he was trying so hard. I need to town my car was getting late was around 7 pm he help me to get my car towing. He couldn't left us there in the dark he drove us to town to wait for our lift. Me and my friend drove from Yakima to Oregon to go to cannon beach. I made a dumb decision and got my key fob wet in the ocean. Once we were ready to leave my keys no longer worked all I could do was open the door but sadly the alarm would come on for a few minutes. I was getting stressed out on how I was going to get home!!!!! so I decided to call this locksmith, and he was SO NICE! he said “hey just tell me we’re you are and I’ll make you another key so you guys can leave it’ll just take like 10 mins. he was driving a long distance and got to us so FAST!! not kidding lol. me and my friend thought he was really cool. He told us the price he was wanting to do the job and said he’ll make a EXTRA KEY for me for one price. He got the key working for my car in 10 mins and next thing you know we were able to leave. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! I say that because I called other locksmiths around the Oregon area and they didn’t even act like they cared just rather do a troubleshoot over the phone instead….
