Brew 22 Coffee — Restaurant in Seaside

So I'm reading other reviews that say the coffee was good and I'm so confused, we were on our way to Cannon Beach yesterday and after a 3.5 hr drive I was SO excited to get coffee- we stopped here ( usually the little coffee stands are THE BEST) the barista was a cute blonde girl, I saw the white chocolate macadamian breve on the rmenu- 🤩how could you go wrong!? White chocolate, nutty macadamia and half and half with espresso, there is literally no way to mess that up right!? WRONG. This was by far the WORST coffee I have EVER tasted in my entire life ( and I dont say that lightly as I've had some bad coffee - if you guys order from various coffee places you know what I mean ) but this was different, this wasn't something you could fix, this was the worst tssting, spit it out, what the %#*!? Weird, did they run toilet water through a coffee machine with 3 day old grounds and then let it sit out in the sun, while forgetting any and all flavoring, I'm confused and appalled, is this even possible coffee ever. It was SO disappointing. There is no way the ingredients listed were in that cup- I'm not even sure if what was given to me wasn't toxic waste. It was sad, I was sad, fortunately we drove by another coffee stand on our way out on 101, I pulled in- asked them to dump that foul brew of who knows what, ordered a white chocolate mocha ( again.. smh) this actually tasted like coffee :););) SUCCESS! I hope someone higher-up reads this so they can rectify this for the poor girl that helped us today. The coffee and service was great. The nice girl that was helping us accidentally mixed up our drink with another car, perfectly fine and understandable human mistake, was NOT an issue at any point! But what I can assume her manager comes over and reprimands her in front of us, loudly, to embarrass her. She continues to escalate and make it more embarrassing by saying our "drink wasn't even ready and it'll be a minute." There wasn't a reason, we weren't upset by any means, and it could've been handled quietly and quickly. I run my own restaurant in Bend, and this was a very uncomfortable, inappropriate, unprofessional way to handle an employees mistake. It made us feel for that girl, that she had to get embarrassed for something so...

I have to say, I am a tremendous fan of Brew 22. Their coffee is good and somehow tastes more 'handcrafted' than some of the other local coffee shops. I also appreciate their sense of community, with their occasional fund raising activities. However, I am really struggling with their prices. $5.75 for a medium drink is just too much IMHO.

Maybe I’m cheap (I prefer frugal), or out of touch with today’s prices, but it just seems excessive to me. Lord knows the community is willing to pay it with the lines they always have, but damn.
