Cartwright Park — Attraction in Seaside

Great place for the little man to meet new kiddos. Playground is rock climbing and ship oriented. The river is just east of the playground. Overall, this is one of the nicer parks in Seaside due to atmosphere. The 12th Avenue bridge is also an amazing place for the kids, young and old, because this is where the Dungeness Crab pots sit in the water! Broadway Park does get its share of street people with no real place to go, and this place only has room for someone to use the public bathroom and head out. Not much, if any, shade cover so when it gets hot out you'll be happy the water...

Decent park. Like that can see entire play structure at once. Play structure getting a bit old; they have had to remove the bridge between the two structures and now that area has plywood in front of openings. Clean enough bathrooms with running water and soap (ie not super clean but way better than a porta potty). Lots of picnic tables including some close to river and multiple under a cover. Have some circuit exercise type things that I have no idea what they are used for lol (a sign with instructions etc...

Cartwright Park is a cute, clean little park near Seaside, OR. ;with several picnic tables and a picnic shelter.

A perfect place for a quick picnic or an afternoon out with some basketball. A nice place to take pictures in front of beautiful, giant tree.
