Read moreThis was humiliating and deeply painful. I fully understand that the store does not have a public restroom. But does that mean compassion and basic humanity should disappear?
I politely asked an employee if I could use the restroom she had just exited. She refused with a smile. I asked again, explaining that I truly couldn’t hold it any longer. She still refused, smiling as if it were amusing. She then told me to go outside to the garden section, where there was an outdoor restroom — locked. Another employee there also denied me access.
I was in physical pain, desperate, and completely dismissed. They laughed while I suffered. Is this discrimination? Cold policy over human decency? Do your employees find pleasure in watching people in distress?

I was shopping with my already hard to shop with toddler while carrying my diaper bag on my back, they approached me to inquire if my bag was a purse or a backpack insinuating that I may be using it to steal…..so whoever the manager was at the time had the audacity to question me, a mother while shopping for groceries about my child’s diaper bag because they were afraid that I was stealing. How insulting and insensitive. I’m absolutely appalled that anyone would have the audacity to question a mother about a diaper bag…..I’m so mad and insulted.
