The Covenant — Local services in Seaside

This is the only shop out in the area for miles so you can’t say it’s the best in seaside/monterey/etc when it’s the only shoe resell store out there. If you look at the reviews some of them are fake, it’s the owners leaving 5 star reviews for themselves that shouldn’t be allowed. I wish I could give it a higher rating but I have to be honest. I’ve taken some heat there and was given real low price /offer. They look at StockX and offer you under payout.. I took a shoe that’s highest bid is like 480 and they offered 400 but buy it now is 540. Then I saw they have the same shoe smaller size that’s worth less in market and they want $600. So basically if they offer me $400 they will then sell it for around 650. I get it’s a shop and they have overhead but they offer real low and want to make high profit. A lot of shoes they will post on IG story with a plug emoji and cropped picture of lowest ask while removing/hiding highest bid. So if a shoe is 300 ask but only 80 bid with no sales they will crop out the bid and show only ask then post a plug emoji with $250 price with a pic of the shoe and act like its a steal meanwhile knowing they paid hella low because they looked at payout. They posted a street hawker size 10.5 hella used for 280, payout for a new pair is 280 so they probably paid 150 or less for the used and want to make 130+ off it and they posted some Yeezy and only showed the ask and cropped out the bid. However, they didn’t post the plug emoji just the price of $150 which is highest bid so that means whoever sold it got paid probably 70/80$ or less. I also think it’s kinda funny when they post “buying heavy” or when they post “looking for x shoe, best price takes my money” because I know they offer real low for shoes. It’s even funnier when they tax for shoes and say FCFS then a few days later they still have them and lower the price. They also post a lot of videos daily reminder come shop with the team and there is like no one in the shop it’s empty just the employees. Last time I went it was prime time and it was empty dude was playing video games he looked bored like he wanted to leave but couldn’t. What I do like about the shop is that they sell a bunch of random things it’s like a pawnshop. Backpacks, bikes and jewelry.. it’s kinda random they gonna be posting puppies for sale too watch haha. They have some cool events like eggs and toy drive. I wish they paid better on shoes but I get it’s a business unfortunately people that know the market won’t pay those high prices when they can get it for cheaper online and they just have to wait a few days to get it. Horrible store they lowball crazy the offer below payout and then they sell shoes for stockx price after fees, this store won’t last longer they will go out of business soon like retailboyz, if you want to get ripped off go here trust me there is a reason their shop is always empty and slow business I feel bad for ppl paying $300 for dunks and 4-500 for SBs check market before you buy or sell i highly recommend you DO NOT sell here they will play you the big guy that always wears shorts is a certified low baller and the other dudes are eager to rip you off the older looking guy that dresses like a teen will low ball you like crazy beware honestly there is no good shops in the central coast they are all the same after retailboyz went out of business these guys are the worst now they offer $50 for brick Yeezy then sell for $200 😂 they won’t survive...
