I walked pretty regularly doing laps here. There are shady homeless people living inside the bushes. There is the smell of human body excrement pervading from the bushes. Drug addicts will aggressively pace you for no apparent reason. There are blankets and pillows in the bushes and unwell people who sleep in the bushes at night and sit at the table during the daytime.
It would be a nice park if there were cameras all around the track that actually worked and a complete clearing out of the obfuscating bushes that surround the entire pond.
I am personally very surprised that this park at all meets fire codes.

Read moreThis is a great park. It has 2 sides to the whole loop that it directs. 1 park on seaside side and 1 park on monterey side. Both are open now during pandemic. Its great for excercise and its great for the whole family. It does have a soccer field on monterey side and volley ball court, and on seaside side is also grassy fields for whatever you wanna do with you and yours. All around its great views of both towns a d great parks for kids. Did i mention their are bbq pits on both sides? And all throughout. Its A+...
