I walked in mid day on a Thursday and was greeted and welcomed in. I am SO excited this place opened up because we’ve been hoping for a local Chinese reflexology location in Ballard. I’ve had reflexology massages in china and all over the US and this was the best one I’ve had! Jack did my massage and he was very gentle (as in not rough as other reflexology places can be), but he was very strong!! Other reflexology places can be so rough you feel like you’re a piece of meat being tenderized, but this place was both relaxing and hit all the good pressure points! You can select your pressure preference before your massage (1-8 scale).
It was professional, the ambiance was relaxing and calm, and everything is very clean as it’s brand new! The massage table was very comfortable (for the combo) and for the foot massage part they put you in a very comfy reclining chair. They also play scenic videos on 4K on two TVs, which is relaxing and gives you something pleasant to look at whilst your feet are being massaged.
The oil they use does not have any strong chemical scent, which I appreciate. The vibe is communal yet private, a perfect balance.
There is an additional $2 charge if you pay by credit card, so carry cash if possible. The $38 promo is such a great deal for one hour!
I will definitely be back. This place gets my...
Read moreCan't tell you how excited I am that this massage place has opened up in Ballard! I've probably been every week since they've opened. Massages are absurdly reasonably priced (they have a $38/hour special for any 1 hour service going on right now, but otherwise is it $45/hour). It really feels like I am back in Asia and is so soothing and comforting to me.
I like very hard massages that are also nuanced (vs. a therapist that is just pounding your back as much as they can), and Jack is an amazing masseuse that I can recommend. He hits all the right pressure points without it being painful (really, it feels great) and I can really feel the knots in my body unravelling (I am someone who is very prone to knots and tightness) At this point I've tried the 1 hour full body, foot reflexology and combo and I've loved them all. If you are someone who prefers less hard massages, as others have said, there is a sheet of paper that you fill in when you come where you can specify a pressure level.
Thank you Jack and GW...
Read moreThis place is recommended by my close friend. Which I totally agree and understand all the good reviews.
The owner’s daughter helped me reserve a masseur by asking my needs and preferences through a phone call. Shout out to May, I had a wonderful experience there!
I had a 60-min oil massage. Not gonna lie I thought the concept of clothes off was a bit uncomfortable. But they cover you with a blanket and the hospitality was just superb. The oil they use doesn’t have a strong scent which I appreciate a lot. I ask for the firmest massage but the masseur communicated how we had to start gentle and work through the muscle before having firm massages. It was the best experience I had with massage so far.
I cannot believe how I missed out on such a great spot in Seattle growing up in the area for so long. But I’ll definitely be back and recommend this place to...
