I brought my late grandmother's wedding band in for repair after her doctors cut and severely bent it while she was in the hospital. They unfortunately cut it directly in the middle of my grandparents' initials and wedding date that was engraved on the inside of the band. I brought the damaged band to a different jeweler for repair but they turned me away saying the repair was too risky and cautioned me that repairing the band would likely cause it to snap and destroy the ring altogether. Disappointed and unsatisfied, I took the ring to Turgeon Raine for a second opinion. They agreed to repair the band for me and assured me they'd take great care to preserve the engravings on the inside of the band. Truthfully, I had very low expectations going into the repair process and did not expect the engravings to survive given how the close they were to the cut. When I received my ring back, I was thrilled to see that they were not only able to repair the band, but they were able to perfectly preserve the engravings that I thought would be lost during the repair. I shopped at Turgeon-Raine for wedding bands and the service was wonderful. Although we did not end up buying through them, I came back to have my rings soldered. Richard helped us and their jeweler did a beautiful job of soldering my engagement ring and two bands together. It was also done incredibly fast, I dropped my ring off on a Saturday and it was ready to be picked up earlier than I had originally been told on the following Tuesday. All of their employees are very friendly and welcoming as well as knowledgeable and they have a huge selection of beautiful jewelry. They invited me back to have my ring cleaned any time which was very kind considering the only thing I had them do was the soldering. I had shopped at another well-known jewelry store downtown and the service we received as well as the knowledge of the staff at Turgeon-Raine was vastly superior. Zach is great, and helped me find the perfect wedding band! I can't recommend this place enough. I came in thinking I had already found a great wedding band, and thinking I knew exactly what I wanted.
