This was a ton of fun! While finding parking was as difficult as you can imagine being in the middle of downtown Seattle. We opted to park in a nearby garage and walk. The building looked cool and inviting. As we walked in, we were warmly greeted by friendly staff. When we were ready to go inside, we were given an overview of the museum and how to navigate it. We were encouraged to take photos and ask staff to take them of us. When we went through, we were greeted by more friendly staff who were knowledgeable about each display/exhibit, all of which were interactive! We had a blast and laughed a lot. Our minds were blown multiple times! A nice feature were the explanations on the displays/exhibits. So many interactive displays made this place so much fun! Even though I am almost 50 yrs old, this museum of illusions allowed my inner child to play! This year, for our birthdays, we decided to give each other experiences instead of the traditional gift giving. This did not disappoint, and was a great way to spend my birthday! The bathrooms were clean and there were lockers to store your stuff. At the end, there is a neat little gift shop. Hands down Five Stars! What a great experience! I highly recommend giving it a try. The prices were reasonable and I got my ticket free because I am a teacher. All I had to do was bring my school ID. I bought the tickets online and they synced flawlessly with my...

Unprofessional Staff Member Ruined the Experience

I recently visited the Museum of Illusions in Seattle and had a great time exploring the exhibits. However, my experience was unfortunately soured by a highly unprofessional interaction with one of the staff members.

As we were about to leave, we noticed a sign on the wall “ ask us about your free gifts." We approached the front desk to ask about it, but the staff member, who wasn't wearing the usual uniform, reacted with clear disdain. She seemed annoyed by our question, rolled her eyes, and gave us a condescending attitude. It felt very dismissive and unwelcoming. She slowly pulled out the gift box and left right away.

Thankfully, the other staff members were friendly and professional, and they provided us with the small gift — a card with an illusory picture — which we appreciated. But the rude behavior from the one staff member left a negative impression and was out of place in what was otherwise a fun and enjoyable experience.

I hope the management will address this issue, as it certainly affects the overall customer experience. Or take that sign down bc it obviously seemed that they don’t want...

Staff at the front amazing.the staff who took photos amazing.what I’m guessing is the manager bald with a beard and an ugly tux outfit rude and disrespectful and he knew he was because he ran away like a little kid after yelling over little spilled drink talking like a quarter size spill understandable if it was a large spill but no I didn’t let any staff clean it I cleaned it up literally took one paper but if that manager is reading this your a coward your staff has more customers service skills then you.otherwise the place is eh ok if you have little ones I don’t recommend if your trying to past sometime or run of energy the children’s museum would be better for teens they might like it just to take instagram photos I think that’s more of the age group tbh not a big place pretty small rude management definitely five star for the staff but for the manager two and he literally didn’t say sorry and just ran away super unprofessional so do I really recommend no if you wanna pay 35 dollars for each person to take photos for 30-45 mins you do you but it was definitely not worth it...
