Sophia Massage — Local services in Secaucus

I was looking for a massage therapist, as I hadn't gone in a while -- life had been pretty stressful, and I've been having increased aches and pains. So, I saw everyone's reviews here, and I decided to go to Sophia. An easily accessible location from all surrounding towns, in a welcoming active area. And, I would associate my experience with the humbleness of the town of Secaucus. Room was neat, clean, music was a nice aesthetic, and quiet from any outside distraction. I felt safe and comfortable there.

Sophia asked for any problem areas, so she could focus and work out any knots for you. And, she definitely worked on those for me, and I came out a bit sore in a good way. The feeling that tells me that I need to either stretch more, or come for more massages! You can definitely get the feel of how professional, knowledgeable, and kind a person she is during your interactions. And, I will definitely be coming back again soon.

Some other educational tidbits: When I came she was located within The Rivera Salon (I didn't see another review mention that); and, I highly recommend you calling to make an appointment prior. I called-in ahead of time for an 1-hour session, and it was no issues to come in, talk to the desk, and then go to meet her. If you want to save a little on credit card fees, you can also bring cash to save a little more. But, if you do choose credit, you can also add tip from there. I’ve never left a review but I had to in this case. She was incredible! The massage table was heated which made everything feel like a dream. I went in with a bad neck and a half hour later I felt like a new person. She was so attentive and really worked on areas that were in pain until they felt better. Sophia is AMAZING! I get massages regularly, including at popular chains like Massage Envy and Sophia’s massage is the best I’ve had. She’s professional, communicates well, and checks in during the massage to see if you’re comfortable. Her prices are also unbeatable, $65 for a full body! My only complaint is an hour massage is not long enough. I’ll be scheduling a 90 minute or 2 hour long...
