Marra’s Drugstore Pharmacy — Local services in Secaucus

Ive been going to this pharmacy for the past 12 years. When i first moved to Secaucus i underwent a extensive back surgery. The meds that i were prescribed were not carried by cvs in town or any of the chain pharmacies. Cvs could care less about getting some of the special order prescriptions i needed. We were new to town unfamiliar with the area and i was bedridden. Joe and the staff worked with my wife and doctors to get what i needed. The staff is always helpful, cheerful and treat you like family. I recently went to puerto rico to help with the relief effort. I had to get my prescriptions a few days early. They made it a point to work it out with my insurance company and get me what i needed for my trip. Try and get that service from any other big name pharmacy. They obviously care about their customers and it shows from the loyal following of the residents in the town. Unfortunately i had to move out of town but i still drive a half hour away to get all my medication from them.and i always will. If your new to the area go there and support a local mom and pop store , you're going to get great caring service with a smile something that you are definitely not going to get...

Excellent service from pharmacy dept as well as general store help. In the two years I've been dealing with Marra's, they've special-ordered drugs, worked out insurance difficulties, followed up to clarify doctor instructions - even on weekends, and offered split prescriptions while waiting for drug deliveries. Yes, there is a big chain nearby...that chain told me they didn't carry and wouldn't order morphine when a family member was on hospice care. The chain is a last resort for me from then on. I'd much rather deal with a personable, family owned small business like Marra's. I'll be a customer as long as they're open. I can not describe how wonderful this place is. I needed Tamiflu for my son and was on my way to a 24 hour pharmacy I did not realize that Marra's is open until 10. I passed by around 10:05 the door was locked but I saw people in and asked if they are still open. The pharmacist asked what I needed and they opened the door for me and I was in and out in 10 minutes. I am switching all of my prescriptions to this place. I do come here all the time for greeting cards and special soaps and the place is very neat and clean, prices are very reasonable and staff is super nice and polite.
