I wouldnât recommend wasting your money here. My husband and I were excited to take the âadult hand building potteryâ class, expecting to have a quaint date night and take home our creations. . The class itself was held in a tiny freezing cold room with no running water, so to wash our hands we were offered a bucket of ice cold water, and told we couldnât use the restroom down the hallway. Once the class was over we left our pottery behind with the understanding it would be finished up and we would pick them up later on. We read the class listing which very vaguely says âglazing will be available during this class for anyone who has created itemsâ and it was not explained at all in person. We waited two weeks without hearing back after my husband had stopped to give the manager his number to call him when the pottery was ready so when I was in the area I ended up stopping by and checking in to see if they were ready. I was glad to see the manager Krystal was there and I kindly explained that we were just looking to take home the pieces we made, this is when I was finally told that our pieces would need a second class before they were finished. . Krystal very quickly became defensive and rude towards me saying, âJorge just teaches classes here Iâm not sure where he puts everythingâ so again I left empty handed. I let Krystal know we were kind of disappointed in this whole experience but all she had to offer was âTHIS INFORMATION WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE CLASS DESCRIPTIONâ (which it was not), and âyou can feel free to look around the studio and see if your pottery is here but I donât know where he puts things.â . I was shocked this small business owner was speaking to me in such a condescending, unhelpful way so I said âmaâam I really donât appreciate you arguing with me I just wanted to pick up the pieces I paid for.â On my way out Krystal said âShe is to never come back hereâ . . Very disappointed in the value and customer service here and...
Read moreThis place is amazing! The staff are incredible! Classes for all ages and skill levels. They offer full day programs for kids during vacations. You can attend 1 day or all 5 . The kids love Ms. Sue and Ms. Kim. I was hesitant about the varied ages for camp days but my hesitation quickly disappeared when I saw the benefits of my daughter having older kids as role models and younger kids to mentor. This has helped her self esteem tremendously and helped her create connections with kids she would not have otherwise made. I have also attended adult classes and can't wait to attend more. This place will put a smile on your face the minute...
Read moreI took a sewing class taught by Krystal and had a blast! Despite arriving a little late, Krystal was very accommodating and was able to catch me up with the rest of the class. It was perfect for both beginners and those who already have some sewing skills.
I highly recommend stopping by Created Purpose Boutique, either for a class or to pick up a cute gift for family or friends. There is a HUGE selection of candles, as well as crafts and trinkets. It's a nice place to browse if you aren't sure what to get someone for a gift since there are so many options to...
