Wow! Definitely looks like a greasy spoon from the outside. That perceptions changes immediately when greeted by George who seems to know all of his customers as if they were family. They had just brought out two pies at 9:30am, pumpmin and apple (both homemade). We decided to partake along with out breakfast. Eggs were big, bacon was plentiful, potatoes were perfectly seasoned with a nice crunch, and coffee was good. The pumpkin pie I had was absolutely the best slice Ive had since my grandmother passed. Eats is a cute little place. The parking looks small as you approach the establishment, but you'll find it's actually plenty of room. It does get packed inside, but moves decently, and well worth it. All of the workers are extremely friendly. They are always in a rush but always make it a point to still respond to you with interest. They cook the food fairly quickly and it always comes out delicious. I personally get either the BLT or the mushroom cheese burger. My partner gets other things that I have tried and loved. Eats is one of the friendliest places I know of, and the food is delicious too. Nothing fancy here, just good food, good and prompt cooking and service, and great hospitality. Fairly standard breakfast and lunch menu, plus Rhode Island-style “NY System” hot weiners anytime and fish and chips on Fridays. And delicious homemade desserts, mainly pies and brownies. And did I mention inexpensive? Definitely won’t break the bank! Always enough parking on 2 sides of the building.
