I've been a GM of many fast food and casual dining restaurants for many years and the one thing that will always keep me coming back is customer service. Yeah the food is important too but if the food is at least mediocre but I'm treated well, it's a done deal.
So me and my family are staying at a motel temporarily until we get our apartment and I saw that Subway next door on Fall River Ave in Seekonk was open. I didn't realize that they closed early. It was about 7:15 and I saw on the door that they closed at 7:30 and I felt bad. ( I know what it's like to have customers come in last minute right before close.) So I went in and immediately apologized for my timing and the girl behind the counter Amber was so sweet and nice and didn't seem upset at all. So I thanked her and ordered 3 footlong subs. She had a smile on the whole time and at the register she told me about a buy one get one special for footlongs and she gave me one of them free. I was shocked to see an employee go out of her way to help a customer that came in last minute and try and save them money. I thanked her so much and went back again today for lunch......
I went in and met an awesome guy Matt. I mentioned the deal I had gotten the night before and he apologized and said I'd have to do it online. No problem at all so I signed up outside and ordered my food through the app and when I went back inside he apologized, which I told him it was no problem at all. We started chatting about restaurants we've worked at before and it was enjoyable chatting with another person in the food industry. Both visits the food was great and Matt and Amber need some recognition for their outstanding customer service.
Thank you Amber, Matt and Anastasia for giving me their names and being awesome on the phone. I'll definitely be back for...
Read moreMy girlfriend brought home Subway yesterday around dinner time. We got a Steak and Cheese and a Rotisserie chicken sub. The steak and cheese was the only thing we ate a couple bites from and it was overloaded with peppercorn ranch. After eating those couple bites we started to feel nauseous and are stomachs began to cramp. Well it’s been 16 hours or so since we had the sub and we’ve thrown up multiple times, taken pain meds, and have been bed ridden since. After several uses of tums and pepto we still have cold sweats, chills, vomiting, and stomach pain. My guess was the peppercorn ranch, it probably isn’t a popular choice among customers, but it came with the sandwich. To anybody at subway reading this, please make sure to cycle the sauces even if they aren’t used, nobody should have to go through this...
Read moreThe worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life, asked to have my chicken warmed before it went onto the bread and the women tells me the microwave is occupied. So since that was the case I asked for tuna and was told it hadn’t be prepared yet for the day Id have to wait 20 mintues or choose something else. Also they didn’t have onions or jalapeños what kinda Subway is this ? Also I’ve came a few times where google shows there hours as open and I get there, they are closed early. Sunday after church we go and they were closed at 5pm with bread in the retarder and all ? Idk whats going on with this location but its clear that they dont have it together thats why they have to run so many deals eww no thank you. Sorry for the owner I had plenty...
