I absolutely love the store in general, I always come here when I’m shopping for family etc today unfortunately i experienced a different vibe, i literally had a older bigger lady with short hair that worked in the boutique shop ASSUME I couldn’t afford to shop in this store. She followed me and my niece around and was literally not even 5 ft from me making sure I wasn’t stealing I guess? I own my own business and I could buy everything in that store and not blink, but I guess because I’m in my thirties with tattoos she wanted to jump to conclusions. I still walked out of the boutique with the item I specifically was interested in which honestly she took out of my hands and told me to let her just hold it until I was ready, which was crazy to me and this is only ONE of the things she done. She honestly needs to be fired or disciplined for her actions and taught that this is a new day and age and she should never judge a book by its cover. I won’t be back to this store because of this. Raleigh will have to do.

Packaging and bringing an item to the front has never been an issue with me and it’s always been at the time I take it to the register to pay for it. This lady approached me as we were holding the watch band in my hand, asking did I need help? I told her no that I was just looking, which I was at the time. She then takes it upon herself to close the case back up and say “ well these are all the ones we have so I’m going to just close this case back up” when I was not done yet, I was picking several up as I’m sure u can check on the cameras to see which one I liked the best. So I let her close the case and then I decided to get one and she then said well I’m going to take it to the register and if you decide you want it you can give me your name when you leave and I’ll take it to the front. So as I look around I decided upon another watch band which is the one I purchased, and when I went to trade it she had an attitude and said “wow” and said what’s your name again, sally? I said no I told you Susan earlier. She had no response. So I go back to shopping, I head to the desk and tell them I’m ready to check out that I did not plan to go to any other store and the other associate asked me what my name was and what did I have, I told her and the lady didn’t even put my name on it. So it was all around a messy situation and way more than just you guys trying to make it look like it was a normal thing for her to do what she did, it wasn’t at all. 0/10 due to poor...

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am so sad that I will no longer be shopping here, I loved this place. I have done most of my Christmas gift shopping here and I purchased Christmas lights in August. In August I did not plan on buying Christmas lights but they were so beautiful!!! Well, jokes on me. I went to put them up and one of the bulbs was broken (no worries, u can go to Dewayne’s and get another bulb to replace that one I tell myself.) well.. I plug them in and at least 9 are out and this is on multiple strings. Not just the string with the broken bulb. So I decided ya know what I’ll take them off so I can show them. As I’m taking them off more break. At this point I no longer want these super fragile lights. I have a one year old and a two year old. (They are asleep while I’m doing this! Thank the lord I needed to vacuum bc the bulbs just started breaking as I slowly try taking them off.) I put them in an Amazon box bc at this point I don’t want to break more bulbs trying to stick them in the boxes they came in.

Return day: (my kids are sick so I send my husband) he spoke to a very nice lady who seemed to under but the return policy is 30 days. (It’s a Christmas product. I read signs through the store that said Dec 15th is last day for any Christmas items to be returned) so I figured since they were Christmas they understood people didn’t purchase Christmas stuff in Aug and use it immediately but never would I think I couldn’t rely on Dewaynes product and need to check it immediately. The lady said she had to get her manager. Well, he came and was rude and obviously didn’t care that we got a defected product. He made it seem like we destroyed the product and definitely didn’t care if we ever came back! Which stinks so bad because now I won’t be and I loved Dewayne’s. I’ve never returned anything else. So disappointing, happy holidays. I would recommend testing all products immediately if you purchase there. He also said if it’s not back in it originally packaging (which we took the original boxes) you can’t return. I just wanted to replace or a store credit. This place is great for everyone! Great decor especially for christmas and so many plants. You could spend hours here, they have clothes, toys, snacks, drinks, accessories, christmas trees, ornaments, plants, books, etc. There are things in a variety of price ranges so I'd recommend anyone to go. They also have restrooms in the middle section where the plants are to the left. The lines can get long so I recommend going early on a weekday so you can browse and shop calmly. I came here with a baby and she was very entertained. I also came once with a small dog, they are allowed on a leash, in a bag, or carrying them is fine. In the snack area to the right you can get fudge, ice cream, lemonade, coffee, etc. They have a large candy selection as well. My grandma likes getting pecans from here. The parking area is also quite large so I've never had an issue finding parking. I also recommend this place for fun christmas photos/selfies. They have the trees decorated in a variety of styles to give you decor ideas and it's great. It is warm in the indoor sections, the plant section is not so bad but it can get chilly there. Christmas shopping is made super easy here, you can find something for anyone, they have baby clothes and items, toys and toddler items, and a large section for mens clothing and other things. Up the stairs near the snacks they have discounted items that are also worth looking at. They also wrap gifts so you can save a lot of time.
