I had this company install our front door and new sidelights years back. The installer did an ok job (cut the quarter round with a pair of tin snips...). So years later there's some maintenance needs: the sidelight bezels/frames cracked and broke. Seems like a manufacture issue, but not knowing at the time it was produced by Western Reflections, I called looking for help. The girl was helpful, pulling up info and getting in touch with the company. However, that was February. I finally get a voicemail from Tyler on 9/30 that the frames have been in, but for some reason no one pulled the order, asking if I still wanted them. I called back within 24 hours and left Tyler a voicemail letting him know I did. I noticed their hours on Thursdays were until 7pm, so that's when I went. They were closed. COVID hours, but nothing changed on their answering message or the website or on Google. So I called the day after and spoke with someone (I'm convinced now that it was Jim, but can't be positive). He was aware of the misrepresented hours. I told him I planned to pick up the frames on Monday am when I could schedule going into work later. Showed up and Joe, for as helpful as he attempted to be, couldn't find anything that proved they existed or were even there. I played Tylers message, and went through this entire story. We left off with him stating that he'd talk to Tyler when he got in at 10am and figure it out and that they would be happy to deliver them since I am close. Nice customer service, I thought. Then I got a voicemail from Tyler. In it the price suddenly changed by $20 . I call, and he immediately started getting confrontational and yelling at me. Kinda thought I was the customer? He literally yelled through the entire conversation, talking over me and not letting me ask questions. He is obviously immature and feels like he has to have the last word about everything. Poor skill set for someone in a service industry. He repeated " Do you want these or not" knowing that I did, and knowing that was his leverage. Nice customer service. I finally got to ask a question, and by this time I too was shouting ( I was on speaker phone). I asked why the increase in price since the 9/30 and he said "for delivery". Well. I'll send them a bill for my time going up there on a Thursday because they can't change their hours on a computer or voicemail, and for going up on Monday when the product couldn't be found...I'd bet they wouldn't pay my bill...why would they think I'd pay theirs after all the inconvenience and incompetence?!? Take your...
Read moreCustomer service is extremely poor. We ordered a door, were told that we would be getting a call in early December - no call. We waited until after the holidays, still no call. I called back to ask what was going on with the door. They did not have the door. It came one week after my inquiry.
I scheduled an appointment for installation, which I was originally told would have to be during working hours (8-5) on a weekday. I took time off of work to be there for the installation. They cancelled the installation, then sent an installer out on Saturday to install the door.
We had a concern about the door latching. The door would seal along the magnetic door seals but was not in position to smoothly latch unless more force was used to close the door. When opening the latched door, it would pop - both audibly and visibly-inward - as there was pressure against the latch due to it not being 100% correctly aligned. This problem was not a huge deal, and everything else with the door seemed great, but we had just spent money on a new door and installation - so we wanted to be sure everything was done correctly.
I called the company to ask for someone to come look at the issue. The installer came back to my house on the following Saturday. He did not pull into my driveway, his truck was left in the road - he had obviously made up his mind what he was going to do before even looking at the door. He came into my house, slammed the door a few times, called me ridiculous, said everything was perfect, then left.
If you start a business arrangement with Gallery of Doors without expecting to be treated like the customer, then your expectations will most likely be met. They will most definitely not bend over backwards for you, or forwards, or pick up a phone and let you know that the door you ordered is going to be over...

Bought a brand new home that had 3 garage doors. 2 of the 3 garage door openers work. Gallery of doors installed the doors and openers. Builder had them come out to look at the one not working due to it being under warranty. The service technician that came out was terrible right from the start.
He got out of his truck with a terrible attitude telling me that he was sure that the problem was the homeowner, ME, messed something up. He said this before even looking at the opener. He rudely and with complete arrogance explained to me that the photo eyes weren't lined up. I asked him how to tell if they were lined up and he said the green and amber lights would be solid. When I pointed out that they were solid he said it must be the forces weren't set properly. He then himself set the forces properly and it still didn't work. Then he told me the problem was that the spring and wheels were bound up and when I manually released the door and moved it up and down freely by hand he said it must be the photo eyes weren't lined up even though the lights were still solid. I then asked him to leave.
During this entire encounter he was rude, sarcastic, and just a complete a$$hole. Gallery of doors should be embarrassed to employ such a disgrace of a "service" technician. I tried contacting Gallery of Doors to get an actual qualified service technician out to warranty their product and they will not respond to my calls or emails.
Since I could not get a response from Gallery of Doors I have since moved the non working opener and swapped it with one that was working and the problem followed the opener. Even though this opener was under warranty I bought a new one and replaced it and now I have 3 properly working garage door openers. This company is awful and deserves...
