They really upped their game this year with MORE VEGAN options!! YES!!! Raspberry Nebula, Oreo Espresso, and Vanilla Chip!! They are soy based ice creams (the scoop-able kind not soft serve). I was a bit skeptical, because I'm not a huge soy fan, but one bite and all fear was gone! I tried the Raspberry Nebula It was very tasty. Raspberry based with chocolate chip/shavings throughout. Even my picky 8 yr old approved and she's typically impossible when it comes to trying new foods. So, I'll give that flavor a good 8 out of 10. I'm excited to try the others as well. By the way, I ordered a small cone, thinking it would be just enough to curb the sweet craving....OMG it was HUGE. Next time I will get it in a cup so I can save the rest for later, instead of throwing it away. My daughter decided to try the new Kids Unicorn Sundae and she loved it. I can't remember exactly what all the ingredients were but it was a Vanilla custard base with rainbow sprinkles and I believe a multi-colored marshmallow...
Read moreMy root beer cooler wasn't very thick & whatever kind of root beer they used tasted pretty "generic", but I suppose overall it was all right. They did have a lot of choices on the menu, and the custard I did a taste test on tasted like genuine custard versus ice cream (although I do actually prefer ice cream over Custard, but that's just me).
& Although I could have SWORE I thought I saw on their menu that they had frozen yogurt, but when I asked about it they said they didn't have any - but I didn't double check either, so maybe I read it wrong *but I really could have sworn I saw it up there🤔?¿
Anyway, not sure that I would go out of my way to go back but if you're in the area &/or you're looking for genuine custard I would say that you should definitely stop and...
Read moreBest little spot for custard in metro Detroit! Their menu is EXTENSIVE. They have 20+ flavors of custard. You can get all the wild flavors (coconut, piña colada, mango, etc...) in a cup- unless the flavor is flavor of the week. In that case, you can also get it in a cone (and dipped! Which is my favorite way. It halts the melting some). There are such fun kids choices (cotton candy, peeps, dirt cup). If the kids want traditional, they have baby sizes in everything! I love this feature because seriously, I can NEVER eat a whole cone or cup! Bonus- most little custard places don't have seating. This one has stone benches and a few stone tables with sturdy...
