Extremely bad experience with store owners!
Firstly I would like to thank Paul, an incredible, polite salesman who really has the courage to come face to face with the customer and solve other people's problems! On 12/13/23 we purchased a blusleep FIRM mattress that came from āFloridaā and should arrive at my house in 15 to 21 days. I have been to the store in person more than 10 times, to know when it would arrive! And one of those times when I was in the store I was served on Saturday by another guy who wasn't Paul, I don't remember his name, but it was the second time he served me in the store, but this time he pretended not to know me, he pretended not knowing why I was in the store⦠simply because he was with other potential buyers in the store, and when I questioned him about my mattress he said it would take a few more weeks because it was coming from Italy?? Serious? From Florida to Italy and then from Italy to Michigan? After that I waited another week and went back to the store in person and Paul greeted me politely, Paul called the store owner and said he was with me and was on speaker phone, so I asked who the liar was, if it was Paul or him. He said the mattress came from Italy! He just got furious, called me ungrateful and that you were tired of me going to the store, started talking and didn't give me a chance to say anything else! And finally he hung up on Paul! I sat still talking to Paul and his phone rang again and it was the store owner asking Paul to call the police to me because I had called them liars! After that I realized what kind of person I was dealing with! I told Paul to call the police because that day I had time and I would wait, but Paul, as always. Very intelligent, unlike the others, he didn't think it was necessary! I'm not the type to say things behind the phone, the type to yell at another man on the phone, nor the type to throw the problem out to others to solve, that's why I was personally at the store every time! After that I waited another two weeks to see if the mattress would arrive, but it didn't, so we canceled the financing made with Snap Finance, the finance company reimbursed us the amount we had paid in installments. But the store owner said he would not give me back the other 500 that I had paid on the day of purchase, because according to him I was ungrateful and that I had already been using the extremely soft memori foam mattress that they lent me for 3 months (which I only used for 3 days, on the third day I was already waking up with unbearable pain) So we saved the mattress so that the day they came to deliver the blusleep they could borrow it back, and so it was stored there waiting for people to come and get it! ! In other words, āif you donāt receive your Blusleep FIRM mattressā, the owner would keep my money and I would be left with a soft mattress that I cannot use. Anyone who has a back problem knows how terrible it is to sleep a night on a soft mattress! Today was the last time I was in the store, the owner said on the phone that he would not give me my money back! So be careful, I only went to this store because I hadn't read the reviews before , Ryan Peters seems to have gone through something similar, lucky for him he managed to receive the full amount from the financier! End of the story, I went to buy a FIRM mattress and ended up paying for another mattress that was completely the opposite of what I NEEDED and ended up paying for a really soft memory foam product!
I recommend Paul as a salesman, a true, courageous, admirable guy! Very good professional...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all, I'd like to say that Paul was one of the best sellers I have ever met and we adore him. He is super attentive, kind, proactive and transparent with the information. It's really a shame that the store puts him in uncomfortable conditions with customers for something that isn't his fault. If I could rate Paul, I would give him 5 stars, a person that any business would like to have.
But we had the worst experience as consumers with the delivery of the mattress (which never happened) and with the responsable of the store. We bought a mattress at the beginning of December and hired the white glove delivery which seemed like the best option because we had just moved.
Almost 3 months passed and we never received the mattress. Paul was supportive enough to offer us a spare tire mattress until ours arrived. We tested this for 3 nights, but as we have back problems, we chose to buy a mattress from another store and cancel the financing we took out. The financier was very supportive and refunded us for the installments we had paid.
Then, the responsable for the mattress store has refused to take back the mattress that he had lent us and also refused to return the amount we had paid as a down payment in December, as if we were now buying this mattress that was loaned to us.
I don't wish this experience on anyone. For 3 months my husband politely went to the store to get an update on the product's delivery, and the company didn't seem to know where our mattress was coming from, or even exists. We just wanted to make a purchase and receive the product. Simple. In the end, what we absorbed was the lack of respect and education from the "owner/responsible.
We wish the best to Paul, the person who treated us politely all this time.

However, the next day they called and told me that a piece of my sectional was out of stock until Mid March -- not was I was told at the store. They told me my sales person would give me a call to discuss my options, he never did. So the next day I called him, he was busy so I left a message to be called back, he never did. So I called again, this time he was available and when we spoke all he tried to do was sell me the sectional in a different color, I said I wanted to cancel that purchase. We set up delivery for my dining room set. They had a three hour window to deliver it, that window came and went with no phone calls or ETA. I had to call the store several times for them to finally get in touch with the drivers who had an "incident". The manager said they were on there way to me and I was there next stop, he said okay and he would verify this, he never got back to me. Another 30-40 mins. go by and I have to call again. This time I call and they're a couple minutes away. Finally they arrive 2 hours AFTER the delivery window and dropped the dining room set off. Literally just dropped a box with my dining set in it off, stating this was something I was supposed to assemble myself. Absolutely insane. I specifically asked my salesman if this going to be put together for me and he said yes. So that was a lie. The manager offered me "gift cards" for my inconvenience with the delivery, but all in all I was very displeased and I won't be returning. Only giving it 2 starts because I love my dining set but the service here is awful. I went to Value City 5 mins. away for a sectional and was much better...
