PLEASE READ THIS!! You’re going to read A LOT of positives in here about Hendrick’s, but let me tell you about my horrible experience. We bought a dryer from them on 12-1-18. It was supposed to be installed on Monday. We cancelled several events and rearranged our schedule for the install. It was guaranteed. At 9:30 PM, yes PM, on that Monday, we were still waiting on installation. Our installer, Kevin, had called and said he’d be right there several times. I FINALLY GOT AHOLD OF Kevin at 9:30 and cancelled the install for the day. I called the store to complain the next morning. We were assured by Eric, one of the owners, that it would be taken care of, and that we would be refunded the installation fee. The dryer was installed the next day, AND my wife had to get off of work AGAIN to come home for the install. It’s been three weeks, yes THREE WEEKS, and I’ve yet to see my refund. I’ve called about it twice, and Eric has told me it’s coming. Ridiculous! The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I’ve bought six appliances from them in 12 years. Read moreHendricks has always provided me with great service. I purchased a washer dryer set 3 years ago that was going strong until the washer pump went out. Hendricks came out and fixed it for me promptly.
Unfortunately in the process of fixing the washer a hose was not properly connected which ending up causing a good bit of flooding damage as the hose took some time to fully disconnect and led us, and Hendricks, to believe all was well.
Hendricks, and specifically Kelly, took full responsibility for the issue and directed me to file a claim with my insurer who would then mitigate the issue with Hendrick's insurer. I have had nothing but cooperation and help from both Hendricks and their insurer Penn National. While no one likes the process of home repairs things couldn't have gone better given the circumstances. The peace of mind provided by Hendrick's honest business practices is invaluable.. I will always buy my appliances...
Read moreI just called about having my dryer repaired and was told I'd have to bring it in?????? I'm 61 years old and have had a heart attack and a stroke! How in Gods name do I load the dryer to TAKE to them? Never ever have I been told to bring it in! It's not like taking a human in to the doctors office. Had a door latch on my washer to break off about 4-5 years ago on our front loader washer and they came right out!!!! Didn't have to try to load it and take it in. Charged $250.00 to replace a $2.99 part. Was here approximately 15 minutes to replace it! Cleaned up after himself and was very curdious. The latch and been working ever since. Just couldn't understand the lackadaisical attitude of the person at Hendrick's Appliance today. I'll be changing appliance stores. I'd rather buy from someone who cares about their customers and...
