Wonder6 Playground — Local services in Sherman

RE: Stolen Shoes ~ 04-14-23

We’ve been visiting this establishment and absolutely love it here and still do. My GRAND daughter whom is 5 went to retrieve her shoes today and they were gone.

It’s no fault of Wonder6, we chose to put her Disney Tennis Shoes in the designated shoe bin. The concerned employee apologized profusely. It’s no fault of hers. But it definitely took the wind out of our day. I appreciate this employee so very much.

Trying to explain to a 5 year old someone needed her shoes more then her was difficult. I immediately got online and tried to locate the same shoes. Found some similar to hers at Target in Sherman. Not the exact ones tho. I bought her 2 pair of Disney Frozen princess shoes, to replace the 1 stolen pair.

After getting back in the car to drive home, I saw a tear run down her face as she professed she wanted her old shoes back.

Trying to convince her again, they needed her shoes badly, and she now had 2 new pair. (was not working to cheer her up at all) Decided to run into Famous Footwear with her, and they had her exact Disney shoes. Only problem, not in her size. The sweet employee ordered them for us and they will arrive next week at her home.

What started out as a fun day, cost me $86.00 for 3 pairs of new Disney shoes. That does not include admission to Wonder6. I refuse to take the additional shoes back, and break her heart again.

Moral of the story: Leave your child’s shoes in the car please.

We used to go here all the time for our older daughter and it was amazing and perfect for smaller kids. We moved away, but when deciding on a place for our son’s first birthday that was in the area to make it easier for family, we knew it was the perfect place. The staff were so sweet and helpful. They helped set up, were accommodating for a first birthday, communication was great leading up to the party, and you can’t beat the price for a fully private event. All the kids who came, from 6 years old all the way to 8 months, had an absolute blast as there is something for every age. I really wish we had a place like this in Arlington- we’d go...

We’ve had three great experiences so far at Wonder6, and hopefully many more to come! My son and his friends had a blast at his birthday party. The facility was easy to rent and the staff were very helpful with set up and take down. My favorite thing about this Wonder6 facility is that it’s quite easy to see your children from the front and allows parents to relax a bit more. Our only problem was that it was a bit toasty, so keep that in mind if you are visiting on a warmer day in the fall or spring. Thank you for the perfect...
