Wok Xpress — Restaurant in Sherman

Used to be better than it is now. Prices have gone up to as much as eating a Chinese Buffet for restaurant.

No flavor to the egg drop soup. I ordered 3 different soups and they were not hot (used to be), and they don't give crispy things to put in them.

Egg rolls were so greasy that I tossed them. The Happy Family meals were so watery that you would think it was a boiled entree. There is NOTHING in the fried rice. No egg, no onion, just rice that is fried with grease only. I am not making this up. I have included pictures.

I realize that costs have gone up for them. But, cutting back on sauces, ingredients and removing things that are normally given (crispy twists), not even a fortune cookie, plastic silverware or napkins, is getting too extreme. They are going to lose us loyal customers if they don't address the issues. AND, they can't blame it on being busy or in a rush. I was the only one there. There was no other cars in line and nobody eating inside.

I hope they fix it. I will give them one more chance, then I will quit buying from...

This place is a real hidden gem. I'll get the only critique I have out of the way with the lo mein and fried rice having no vegetables cooked with them by default. Maybe that's on me for expecting them. (though after eating my noodles I grew to be fine with no extras, as they'd take up space rightfully dedicated to the main part.) I had the sesame chicken, and it was absolutely divine. Idk if I got lucky with how fresh my food was, but it was all piping hot and the chicken's breading was still nice and crispy. I was worried at first that the servings seemed a little small, but it is safe to say after eating all that was packed into the bento, they did not skimp out on any of the food. All I wanted was fried rice with onion, the lady that answered the phone said we don't do that. I informed her I came a day ago and got that & I tried to explain to her what I was talking about, I didn't have a nasty voice or yelled or anything. I know language may be a barrier for her. She just hung up the phone. It's no professionalism in places any more, but if their business depended on their treatment to others, if would fail. It doesn't matter what nationality we are we need to learn to treat people with respect & in a correct manner. It doesn't matter if it's over the phone or in person. I will never go or call there again. How someone treat me is everything. I only gave 1 star because that's the only way my review...
