Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Sherman

It is a good Cici's but there have been a couple issues that could be worked on.

When it is busy they will continue to accept to go orders. This means the buffet that is being decimated by the crowd is in competition with more customers. This leaves the buffet constantly empty as soon as it is replenished. When this happens upset people tend to take more food. So there is less pizza to go around since they can only cook it so fast. If oven time is spent on to go orders when the buffet cant stay stocked, management should suspend or delay incoming to go orders.

I shouldn't have to clean the table. Especially at a buffet. Sometimes I will put my plates away but the hole in the trash can is smaller than the plate. So you end up making a mess when cleaning up what is technically their mess. I notice fewer employees there now so I guess the system works for them. But when I was in here today I read their sign instructing customers to "help us keep it clean".

Every sign that i could see with this card was pretty nasty. To the the point it was ironic.

Being a food establishment and all, i would like to see a different attitude toward keeping their place clean. You know, an attitude that shows you want to make sure it is clean and cleaned right.

If the plate doesn't fit through the trashcan, how am I supposed to quickly empty it? When I spill ranch on the trashcan should I run over and ask for a rag and cleaner?

The waiting for food when busy is to be expected at a buffet. But trying to be a little Caesars and a buffet leaves your dine in customers waiting and to go customers seem to get priority. Which is frustrating.

However, asking your customers to clean is pretty bad business.

10/3/24 No complaints about Cici's however, today a very large group of WHITESBORO middle school kids were bussed there for lunch. The kids ran wild! Playing ball, screaming, very loud and unruly! They played catch with the balls flying everywhere. My husband actually had to tell one boy to stop because he was sitting next to us. The ball could have hit us or landed in our food. The adults who accompanied them did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! They should be ashamed! I've never been so annoyed! 6/19/24 They have improved the food and it's good. Get your pizza with whatever toppings you like. The salad bar is very good with lots of choices. They lady up front is the sweetest. We will continue to go back. Food is good but prices keep going up. Salad bar has improved has more items and is good. However on a special order you cannot get a large pizza anymore. We were there today and had trouble finding a clean tray or plate. Everything had food still on it, mostly salad. That will no doubt be fixed. We will go back. For the price you cannot beat the food. It's your own fault if you leave hungry! Went to CiCi's again yesterday, 12/11/17. Really has gone down hill. No mushrooms, no Thousand Island dressing, most of the tables were dirty and there was no ice. We asked for ice and were told they couldn't get to it because boxes were in the way. It was the first time I had been to cicis in years . The food was fresh and good . The bus boy or man was the rudist I have ever seen . His demeanor was just awful. My 2 year old grandson had ran into the arcade area so my son his father went after him . The bus boy varked at him fir having a slice of pizza in his hand then starred at our table like we were just raking to long . Thus was in the middle of the day so nowhere close to closing. Not only was he rude but his appearance was even worse . He looked like he hadn't seen a shower or bath in months . Not a good appearance for a food place . You could definitely tell he hated his job . Management should care more about the employees appearance if they are working in the public area . Also I understand rules but he was just going to get his child not to stay in the room . Maybe they shouldn't mix the arcades in food business and that problem with food being taking over by the arcades wouldn't be a problem .
