Not the greatest experience with the grooming salon. We paid $55 for a full bath (includes 15 minute brush, nail trim, shampoo, spritz spray, blow dry), nail buffing, and fresh breath teeth cleaning... Appointment was supposed to be 1 hour 45 minutes. Here's the thing, we sat outside from our car and watch through the windows (you can still see through the shades) the ENTIRE time. His appointment ended up taking 3.5 hours! We saw him be brought out of the room they bathe them in once, where we saw the brushing all the dogs, cutting their hair, trimming nails, etc. When they brought our dog out 30 seconds into it another dog was having an emergency so they rushed our dog back into the room where they keep them I'm assuming in cages. After the emergency dog was dealt with it was over an HOUR before they brought our dog back out to get finished up. We saw him get power brushed for 3 minutes (12 minutes short of what it should've been), we saw them very quickly do something to his nails... Then put him back. Then we saw the workers doing nothing and 1 even left for the night. When we picked him up he was still VERY damp. The spritz spray they used was useless since he only smelled like wet dog. Also he had hair EVERYWHERE and did not look less hairy at all since they only brushed him for 3 minutes! The spruce spray to make him smell good was not smelled since the wetness took over. I believe he should've been blow dried to complete dryness, then sprayed to smell good. Also his nails are same length they were and make lots of noise on our floor. Doubt the nail buffi g was done as we didn't see it. Was completely disappointed!...
Read moreWe've been bringing our new pup for private lessons with Kelsi, and I cannot speak highly enough about how great she is. She meets you where you and your dog are at. Lessons like these are less about training your dog, and more about training you to train your dog. She explains it all so well. She's so patient, and personable, and accomodating of our shifting schedules. This is a person who loves her doggy students and her job. And the lessons she gives us are easy to take home, the dogs (we've been implementing the training we get with Kelsi for our young dog with our old lady dog at home) are immediately receptive. You're not going to get 100% compliance off the bat, but they pick it up quick! Train your dog. It'll make your life so much easier, it'll make your dogs life easier. And not for nothing, but I go to the dog park for an hour a day, and the amount of patience the regulars have for people and their pups who are clearly putting the work in, even if they're not perfect angels yet, and the ire directed at those who aren't, ought to serve as a little extra motivation, lest you find yourself persona non grata in your community. Train your dog. Go to Petco....
Read more8/16/2025 I made an appt for 2 kittens to get the 1st set of shots. Upon arrival was shown the different packages and purchased the 3 visit option for both kittens. they both rec’d their vaccinations. They handed me the kittens and told me nothing about why the didn’t get all the scheduled vaccines. Made next appt for 9/3/2025 ( stated on post visit summary to return in 2-4 weeks) Packed the kittens up an into the car. Drove 10 miles only to be denied service because they had to wait 4 weeks. Made another appt for 9/14/2025, which is 1 day beyond the 4 weeks. The kittens were spay/neuter on 9/10/2025 and were reported to have tapeworm. I really wanted to get the booster soon. I arrived to Vetco on 9/14/2025 and was once again denied because I needed to wait 7 days after surgery. I walked out in tears as my cats needed the dewormer vaccine and was pointed by the Vetco counter person to go find the over the counter version. No, none, zero customer service provided in your store. I purchased what I found, but will return it as it was $10. More than PetSmart. I will also be cancelling ALL Vetco services I have already paid for and demand a...
