I have passed this place countless times and laughed at the name. And then I thought it was a hair salon. Up until I walked past it a few days ago did I know it was an upscale women’s boutique. If you remember the high pressure, 80s style sales tactics of commissioned sales people who worked in general merchandise stores back in the day, you will be used to the type of women who work in this place. Immediately upon walking in I noticed lots of staff on the floor. And they hover. And they watch. And they suggest clothing on you. It can be very offputting if you are used to shopping online or if you want to shop at your leisure. They have great merch and a lot of my fave brands (David Kline, Blanc Noir, Liverpool) so don’t let all the old ladies’ wear up front turn you off. Walk to the back of the store and up the steps. They have an impressive evening and formal gown selection. I managed to find an outfit and a pair of shoes. I wish the ladies worked here would pump the brakes and not be such hovercftarts.
