Lido Key Vacations — Local services in Siesta Key

We just spent 10 days in the Big Kahuna property on Lido key. This home appears fairly new, freshly painted, and was a great accommodation for our group.

There were five bedrooms on each of the main living floors. The bedrooms are all the same size and all have en suite bathrooms. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer on each floor. There was an elevator which was mandatory for our group but also a great convenience for luggage and groceries.

The common space was very comfortable with good lighting and adequate seating. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool area is very nice as is the spa.

Perhaps the most outstanding thing about our stay was the prompt response if we ever needed anything. We had very few requests, but whenever I texted the agency, they responded almost immediately. This was greatly appreciated. There was a very adequate information book that gave lots of instructions about the house as well as the surrounding area in terms of attractions, restaurants, etc.

The location is excellent as it is a short walk to a beautiful beach. The house provides beach chairs as well as several bicycles. Having an extra refrigerator in the garage was an excellent bonus. It is a short walk to St. Armand’s Circle which was nice.

I wish I could leave a 4.85 stars for this location. It is beautifully decorated and well appointed for your stay. Only one area of concern – – the claw foot tub/shower. Some of us tried it once and ended up going for the rest of the week into the walk-in shower that the other bathroom provided. Safety was a concern. Couple other things I have suggestion for is to remove the two directors chairs in the dining room and replace with chairs that can be pulled up to the table for a larger group. In the room with two twin beds, the dresser was hard to use, because there were no rails, and the drawers could fall out if pulled out too far. Loved the kitchen! The size was great, we could have three people working in there with no issue. The counter was great for buffet style serving. Thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool. One thing I want to point out – – keep Desiree as an employee! Her prompt responses and professional manner truly makes your company shine. It was a pleasure working with her. If I had any issues, they were quickly resolved. We had to switch to this location two weeks before coming down for our vacation. It was an anxious time for us because we had seven people to accommodate. It was truly a good switch, and we look forward to working with you...

I don’t leave reviews just for the sake of it. However, this house and this experience deserve every word.

I’m a British guy who’s lived in the USA for 21 years, and I’ve rented just about everything you can imagine around the world. I’ve done the cabins, villas, beach houses. Nothing compares to this place.

First of all. The location is perfect. A 5 minute walk one way to literally voted one of the best beaches in the world. Lido key beach. (the #1 beach in the world), and a 5-minute walk the other way to restaurants and bars. The house itself is incredible, basement arcade, beautiful rooms, and spaces for every generation. Literally. Every bedroom is a king size bed that’s unreal and bathrooms huge.

For big groups, it’s unbeatable. The lads can wander off to the pub, the girls can relax here, the kids are entertained for hours, and the grandparents are comfortable and happy. Everyone wins.

Most importantly, this stay made my wife’s 40th unforgettable. For that, I’m deeply thankful. A special thanks to NANDA, who went above and beyond to make everything seamless.
