Boot Barn — Local services in Simi Valley

Staff at store, older woman was useless, garbage customer service, expressed boots were a bit small. She suggested I go look for myself for the right size instead of scanning the box and letting me know if they had the correct size. She was too busy closing the store register at 7:30 and wanted to get out of the asap it seemed like. Asked to please order my correct size and she said I can do that online. I mentioned it was my 1st time shopping at boot barn and used a welcome coupon for 15%, asked to honor the price I paid for an even exchange and that too complicated for her to honor. Told me I would pay full price. Told her I worked for Nordstroms selling designer shoes and we would always honor any price paid if exchange was being made for the same exact item. We would just modify the price since that is the right thing to do. She said if you return these you will loose any promo used. Very short and crabby, made me regret visiting the store. Nonchalant when I walked in after work at 6:45pm, store did not close for another hour and 15 minutes. Did not want to help or commit to making a sale, maybe it was because I was in work clothes? Also, I do not understand why the employee even got the sale as she did nothing for me and did not even want to help measure my belt size and said she could check my previous purchases from my bootbarn account from a purchase years ago. Not only that they did not grab me another 7 sized boot and handed me a 6.5 with a 7 without checking, so now I have to spend more time driving back for an exchange because associates - older lady and bigger female were too concerned about closing their register than helping out anyone on the floor. Do not recommend this location, save yourself time and money shopping at a different branch. Next time speak to people with respect instead of looking at them not knowing how to do the basic skills...
