Smash Rx not very respectable company to do business with when they use art work they commissioned for their business and never paid the artist what they owed him. I can’t support a company that skirts on not fully paying an artist. You should be ashamed of yourselves. In response to your rebuttal I never claimed to have used your services but reviewing what I know about this company thus far I don’t believe Id want to support it seeing how you didn’t pay the artist yet there’s TikTok videos out there with the artist work on it. So you’re using his art that’s evident. If you really had a big issue with the artist then you wouldn’t use the work he did do. Would you now? And I am not a fake account I’m a real person that uses a real TikTok account and saw it first hand. And so what if he has a criminal background. Big deal. You made a deal to have art commissioned for you. How does his background pertain to services rendered? The artist is the one that was disrespected on not you. That much is evident in the TikTok videos. And I may add in the TikTok video it appears he did the logo rendered the same as your business logo so I don’t really see the issue. It looks like there’s a sledge hammer painted in the middle of it. I didn’t see that on your logo but so what it still looks cool. It conveys the message of what you sell. I know this artist and have worked with him before. He’s very agreeable and has a great reputation in the art community. It seems like maybe you’re a difficult person to work with. Maybe you should try showing more empathy for people. His background frankly is none of your business either. If you failed to check it from the get go of doing business then now since things didn’t go your way you try and list that as a means to justify your action of not paying the artist. Maybe you should do a deep dive into how you do business with people. You probably saw him as a lot of people see artists as “easy targets” to get out of paying. This isn’t anything new where a business doesn’t pay or fully pay for services rendered by an artist. There’s thousands of stories just like this and sadly this probably won’t be the last time this happens. But seriously go read your comment and look at how vicious your rebuttal appears. And then go pay the artist. Absolute disgusting behavior and actions from a supposed distinguished business person such as yourself. So here’s the photos. So he didn’t do what you asked? It sure does look just like your logo. I put your bison logo next to the work he did and the sledgehammer is apart of it. You need to pay that man for real. Lol quit playing games with people

We had a smashing time! Puns aside, this was a fun experience. Yashica, the owner, has thought of everything to make this a fun, safe and therapeutic experience! Don't be mislead by the fact that it's located inside your average looking office park. Upon arrival, after filling out the release form, they encourage you to sync up your phone to their bluetooth so you can play music of your choice in the room while you smash! What a great detail! During a visit with my sister one recent Saturday night, Yashica and another employee had loaded the (fairly small) room with smashable items: glass bottles, vases, frames, and a small piece of wooden furniture. You get to choose your weapons of destruction (crowbars, baseball bats, sledge hammers, golf clubs...). She provides the disposable jumpsuit and protective visor. Your timer begins at the sound of the first smash. Afterward she offered us water and a snack. One might not think that's necessary after a short, 10 minute stint, but it was welcomed! Ten minutes of active, intentional, consequence-free destruction was euphoric, freeing and exhausting! It was a pleasure to do business with Yashica due to her friendly, energetic demeanor, attention to detail and safety. I highly recommend Smash Rx!

I entered into an agreement with Smash RX (Yashica & Joshua Budde) to paint murals at their business. I received a $400 deposit on July 3, 2025, and completed one mural on September 22, 2025, during the exact time frame they provided (5–10 PM). I have photos of the completed work, as well as the text message agreements.

At the end of the job, I was issued a $200 check as partial payment. When I went to deposit the check the next day, I discovered it had been canceled by the business. The following day, I received an email stating that I was “terminated,” but they never stated that they were dissatisfied with my work or that the mural was unfinished. They have since refused to answer my calls, texts, or emails.

In short: I honored my side of the agreement, completed the work as scheduled, and they refused to pay me for it. I am sharing this experience to inform others so they can make their own judgment before doing business here.

I will go publicly on social media with pictures, screenshots and text messages next, to make known just how willing they are to play games with people's money. I have all the receipts needed. Wish I could add pictures here but they have obviously disabled them from being posted.

You paid me for the work that I did in your facility and then cancelled the check!! You stole from me and committed fraud. Regardless of how you feel about me you played games with my money and my time, and now you're totally avoiding responsibility, and accountability for your actions. This is not...
