I wouldn't even give this place one star, if I didn't have to. It has been one thing after another since my fiancĂŠ brought his Sony Experia there to have the charging port replaced. First, they didn't notify him that the part was in - at all. He had to call to find out that out it was in.
Second, they told him it would take approximately an hour to replace it. After and hour and a half and no word, we called for an update. Then they tell him that in trying to repair the port, they broke the screen.
In the meantime, they gave him a good deal on a phone (LG G3) for me to make up for these issues. Sounds like a good step to mend fences. Unfortunately, this phone also had a faulty port - of all things! So we returned and the salesman, who was completely devoid of personality, gave us another. More on that in a moment.
Back to the original phone - after breaking the screen, their attempt to repair that also broke. We are now almost a week out from the start of this debacle. At this point, they still have the phone and have ordered two more screens to restore it. As for my gifted phone, the second version is being returned tomorrow for yet another faulty port. In addition, it randomly shuts off and loses service where I'd never had a problem with my previous archaic phone (which I've switched back to at this point). I know - refurbished phones - you can't expect too much, but I do think it's only reasonable to expect a "quality-certified" phone to work for more than a day.
Now, overall I understand that mistakes happen, products don't work, etc., but the continuing issues here can only lead me to one conclusion - this is a place to stay away from. We'll be getting the money back on the G3 and going to a competitor to find another phone. In the future, when we or anyone we know has a phone problem, we'll steer them clear of Phone-n-Fix!

   Read moreI purchased a protection plan for my phone last April. Called after I broke the screen on the phone and was told they didn't work with the warranty company anymore and that I needed to contact them myself. The gal I talked to really wasn't helpful and didn't offer any assistance at all.
I called back later and talked to someone else and he was very helpful. He got the warranty information from me and had Mike, the manager get back to me.
I was very concerned that getting the claim filed myself was going to be a giant hassle and was not optimistic at all they would even honor the claim after reading a lot of negative reviews on the warranty company. When I bought the plan I was told all I would have to do was pay a $50 deductible and the rest would be taken care of. Now I was to pay the whole repair bill and submit it to the warranty company for reimbursement.
Mike did end up offering to work with me on the payment and also contacted the warranty company after I filed the claim.
The repair was authorized and CPR completed the repair the next day. I sent the necessary documentation to the warranty company and my PayPal account was credited the day after that. The guys at the store were very helpful.
I feel that Mike and his staff( with the exception of the first person I talked to) were genuinely concerned with my having a satisfactory outcome. Thanks...

I would have to update my review to note that the girl ( Brooke ) and guy ( Justin ) I regularly go to are the best at helping out a customer and for your needs but itâs the manager and other employees that felt the need to try and blames us for their mistake while the phone did come in late and they have helped to make sure the mistake doesnât happen again I am not sure if Iâll be eager to come back knowing they have a manager and employees that choose to place blame instead of offering solutions or showing some sort of empathy since my phone is what I use to work from home.
