Had the Buttered Chicken and rice with one of my sister wives. (Was highly recommended by her) . After stopping for a quick errand first, we had missed the first driveway to the parking lot (poorly lit) and almost couldn't find the restaurant as the sign was not lit. We stopping in the mattress store next door to inquire if restaurant was still open. The polite attendant assured us it was still open as he visits from time to time, usually lunch. While we were at the mattress store we decided to take a quick look around as we have been considering replacing our queen mattress with a king because when we travel and end up staying in hotels we always revel in the extra space the king allows. But I don't think that this is the right mattress store for us as the price seem high. As promised we found the restaurant was open and was quickly seated by a kind gentleman that assumed to be the owner. A malted beverage on the menu caught our eye as the pleasant weather of the day had induced some mild thirst. Unfortunately to our disappointment we were informed by our server that it was not available. We (she) proceeded to make a second selection and were quickly presented with two very well chilled glassed and a freshly open bottle of beer. Upon nearly finishing the beer the entree arrived looking very freshly prepared. After combining the spicy chicken (I ordered mine medium and my companion mild as her pallet is a bit more timid) with the succulent rice and immediately dug in . My sister wife choose to keep the two dishes separate the whole time and only combine as needed. We choose to gently remind the server that we also order a serving of the naan bread, which was immediately presented. Oh, did that tasty bread hit the spot, probably good thing for my figure that they didn't include more. After thoroughly enjoying the slightly spicy dish my only regret is that I paid too much for chicken and rice. Mentally doing some math on standard restaurant practices I would have expected a comparable entree to be priced no more than $12. I would return to enjoy more delicious food only during lunch pricing. Hope you enjoy the food as...

Everest Indian Cuisine offers a delightful dining experience with a wide array of flavorful dishes from Indian and Nepali cuisines. The restaurant is known for its cozy atmosphere and warm, welcoming service, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The interior is tastefully decorated, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of India and Nepal, which adds to the overall ambiance.

The menu at Everest Indian Cuisine is diverse, featuring an impressive selection of traditional dishes such as butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, biryani, and various vegetarian options like paneer tikka and dal makhani. The food is consistently praised for its authentic flavors, with the perfect balance of spices that satisfy both mild and bold tastes. The naan bread is a standout, always freshly baked and perfectly complementing the curries.

Service is generally attentive and friendly, though some diners have noted that wait times can be longer during busy periods. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered.

Overall, Everest Indian Cuisine is a great choice for those seeking delicious, authentic Indian and Nepali food. Despite occasional service delays, the high-quality dishes, welcoming environment, and attentive staff make it a top pick for fans of flavorful,...

I went for the lunch buffet with my wife. The lady greeted us minimally and showed us a seat. After that we were feeling left alone. After quite a while they gave water.

It was buffet. We saw others were eating naan. But did not see the naan dish. Then we asked and they told us it comes separately. So for a buffet, you have to kind of order naan separately. A concept indeed.

We were two, and first time they served just one naan for two persons. Never offered us more. Then we asked the lady for another. Her response was rude. She asked "do you want more?" In a tone mixed with surprise. Sounded like we are doing a crime asking another one. That was so horrible. We did not ask for more even if we wanted. Weird treatment.

And they need more people badly. 20ish people were being served by only two persons. One of them was also taking care of the bills.

Our first time visit, and the last time as well. Never want to feel like insulted for one more naan.

Food was ordinary, with items typical for an Indian restaurant here. There was...

When you walk in and you see the sparse decorations and empty feeling of the restaurant don't be fooled. All the skill and quality in this place is funneled directly into the food and staff. The wait staff is amazing and very attentive and enthusiastic to help out. The food though, we are here to talk about that food. The spices used (not just talking about the heat spices, but flavor as well) are so well balanced that it's just plain impressive. My veggie korma was so well balanced in flavor it's going to be hard to try other things here. Additionally on the menu, something I'm excited to try are the steamed dumplings (momo), which are rare to find here in Sioux Falls. Overall, expect to pay around $12-15 per entree (bowl of rice provided), $3-5 for a bread (Naan) side, and $5-8 for a foreign beer. Go here, enough said. It's a great experience for some unique flavors that are rare to find in Sioux Falls.

It was also look like they are not freshly made. Moreover they send just paratha without prickle..hey seriously are you really Indian restaurant???. Please trucker guys just think twice before ordering.

I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan. The chicken is so tender and the sauce is packed full of flavor. The rice is so delicious. The garlic naan is very good. The lady who took my order was pretty nice. I like the cool pictures inside on the wall. This is the best Indian food I have had in this city. I will definitely be returning back to eat more of this delicious food.
