QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

I’ve been a loyal customer of this QDOBA location for years, coming multiple times a month, and as someone who is a germaphobe with OCD, this place has always been one of the few I felt comfortable eating at. However, after my experience today, I am completely shocked and disgusted.

First, the portion sizes were ridiculously small. The rice barely covered the bottom of the bowl, and I had to ask for extra rice and chicken—something I was more than happy to pay for. But things only got worse from there. The employee who was helping me started squashing my food down in the bowl. Even with gloves on, this is completely unhygienic and unacceptable. And to make matters worse, I watched her use the same gloves to wipe food off the counter, then proceed to touch my food again to squash the food down. My bowl was exposed to all of that, and it felt like a major health violation.

I ended up throwing the $17 meal in the trash because I couldn’t bring myself to eat it after seeing that. I’ve never had a food service experience like this, and it’s honestly left me in total shock. Today, July 24 me and my boyfriend went to the qdoba on 41st & western. First off I love qdoba and never have had a bad experience until today. First off when me and my boyfriend walked in nobody said a thing. We got our food and there was a boy and 2 girls specifically one with blonde hair and the other had brown hair. They were all standing there not doing a thing. From the start I had wanted chips on the side, nobody got me chips I had to ask for them AGAIN and the boy and 2 girls then started to laugh about it. Not sure what the problem was or what was funny. All of their attitudes were gross. I had to bite my tongue or I was about ready to cause a scene. The boy set the chips down on the counter, I had to grab them. They then proceeded to not say a thing, not a thankyou or have a good day. Nothing. When we walked out they all talked under their breaths and laughed. I am very disappointed and will not be returning.
