I was in the city for a short time, looking for something not just burgers after a long trip. This place has really high review, wanted to give it a try.
There are good selection of Korean food, I tried their kimchi noodle soup and the spicy fried chicken, the food is not authentic Korean food. The noodle soup is like instant noodle, broth had no flavor basically just Kimchi flavor in it and some vegetable thrown inside. The size of the chicken wings are big, have to amid that it’s fresh and crunchy, but the sauce is not spicy and we also had the mala flavor it taste just like soy sauce nothing mala about it. The Bibimbap is also very bland. Its only good if you want a quick fix of some wings
It’s self service, I didn’t know that so I tipped normal amount for sit down service without knowing visiting for the first time. They didn’t have to put tips option on the check if its self...

Sweet and spicy sauce was very sticky, but sort of bland.
The cheesling wings seem to be covered in a cheese powder, like the packet in a box of Kraft Mac and cheese. The flavor was slightly cheesy, but I did not care for the powdery texture.
The seasoned fries were covered in the same cheese powder as the cheesling wings. That powder was better on the fries. Could have been a little lighter, but personal preference.
The bulgogi was served with green pepper and onion. That over powered the flavoring, next time I’d see if I could order it without that.
On a cultural note, gyoza is Japanese for dumplings. They should have used Mandu, which is Korean. It may be picky, but if you’re going to call yourself Korean, use the...
Read more4 of us and my 5-year-old granddaughter went to Oppa for the first time for my birthday dinner. We ordered quite a bit of food. We got 4 orders of the shrimp bibimbap, LG comb fried chicken, combination fried rice, spicy chicken Korean tacos, cheese wonton a side of fried shrimp and French fries. The total for 4 adults and 1 child was about $152. Sounds like alot but the amount of food we got was more than worth it.
I could go thru and explain each dish, but I would be here all night typing, lol.
I will tell you all the food was beyond amazing. Everything was so frigging delicious and well worth the money. We will definitely be new loyal/faithful customers.
Side note( their fried chicken puts KFC to shame. When we have the hankering for fried chicken, Oppas is the only chicken we will get...
