My family and I Walked in this store to purchase Christmas gifts but unfortunately, we left without purchasing anything. While my husband and I were viewing purses my son brought to my attention that several employees were staring right at us. I confirmed what my son told me but I didn’t think much of it and continued looking at purses. My husband was on his phone looking at other coach purse options online. My husband asked me to look at a few purses on his phone to see if I wanted a handbag or a backpack and at that precise moment an employee cornered me with a blank stare. It became awkward so she decided to comment on my jacket while staring at my pockets. That was extremely odd and at that point I felt extremely uncomfortable. As we left the purse area we noticed all the employees staring right at us. I told my husband this is awful and we should talk to a manager because they are making us feel uncomfortable. To make matters worse we brought our concern to two managers that were in the area but they displayed minimal interest in regards to our concern. I showed them exactly what was in my pockets (phone & purse) just in case since, they have employees staring at my pockets. Truthfully, I think those managers were part of the plan to watch us. We are a hispanic family and I received this as racial profiling. I didn’t see this happening to anyone else except us, this is very sad. We are decent people that hold professional titles, we don’t deserve this type of treatment. I will never step foot in a Dillard store. This is the worst experience of our lives. We will take our money to other stores that value their customers not stores that employ people who stereotype based...
Read moreThis place has tons of dillards items. The only thing missing was mens shoes. The suit selection was a little sparce. There are some amazing mens leather coats! There are more items for women, but a nice selection for men and even some kids items. Lots of womens shoes too. So I imagine you want to know about prices. I shopped mens shirts and found really nice dress shirts. All were brands that Dillards normally carries, there were a majority of dillards brands (daniel cremieux, roundtree and york, etc). I found aa couple of polo but not many. Some Boss, some other brands. Now imagine a top of the line dress shirt, slim fit (or classic fit) high quality, "gold label" normally $120 on sale for 65% off. That is the usual price, almost everything is default 65% off full retail. Then they have sales. Today was 50% off the lowest marked price. So 50% off of 20 to 40 bucks. Most shirts were listed this way. So like $11 or $12 dollars for a nice quality shirt. I was amazed. Plus so many to choose from. Racks and racks of shirts. Also sweaters, vests, short sleeve button ups, shorts, coats, pants, not much selection for underwear or socks. I spent a lot of time here and as long as you dont mind looking for yourself you will find something. The racks are seperated by sizes but are mixed pretty well. Understandable when there are thousands of shirts. If you need a deal on good clothes I recommend you visit...
Read moreFor me to give 5 stars to Dillards says alot because I can’t stand the actual Dillards family, they are very snobby and rude. They look down on employees, treat them like their beneath them and make them follow this cult like work environment. Also plenty of mess. For me to even spend $1 on them was something I didn’t want to do but my teen son loves the brands they carry. I agreed to take him and didn’t realize this was even a clearance Dillards and I gave it a shot and was surprised. I was expecting a messy Ross or Marshall’s type environment but it was very nice and organized. Also I saved so much money I couldn’t believe it! As a mom of 3 in nursing school money is tight and they delivered this time! Now I may go back alone so I have time to browse and shop for myself. I’m glad they offer this to customers especially since times are tougher nowadays for most. I still don’t like them but I guess I will put some shades on and a hat so nobody notices me spending $ on...
