I was a little frustrated with the lack of communication and the quality of service I have received from Troy-Alan Chevrolet. When I bought my Buick 2 months ago, August 2021, I told them I needed an emissions inspection sticker. I scheduled an appointment with the salesman and when I called the service shop a couple days before the appointment I found out that my name was not actually on the schedule and that they didn't have any available times left. So I had to wait 3 more weeks for another appointment to get an emissions inspection that should of been done the day I got my car.
In addition, to that second appointment I also had a trailer hitch installed. When I got home and opened the trunk I noticed that the bumper was no longer flush with the back of the car. I called Troy- Alan, they were closed, so I left a message and they never even called me back. I live about an hour from Troy-Alan so I can't just stop in and have them fix it. I was able to have my family's mechanic take a look at it and he told me that they installed the bumper cover incorrectly and did not attach in the right place. So, I paid them $240 for labor that they didn't even do correctly. I will say that the trailer hitch itself looks good but it is still frustrating that it all wasn't done correctly and that I had to pay someone else to fix their mistake.

After spotting a truck that sparked my interest on the Troy-Alan website I called the phone # for sales. A gentleman named Matthew answered and we discussed what I was looking for. After the call Matthew went out on the lot and took digital photos of the trucks he thought I might be interested in. He sent them to me within an hour. I drove up to the dealership the next day. Matthew showed me the trucks that they had in stock and took time to point out the features that the newer trucks had. He knew the vehicles in detail and answered any and all questions that I had. Impressed by the competence that was displayed by Matthew and the equipment and options that were installed on the silver Sierra SLT I decided to take a test drive. The truck had a nice feel when driving it and Matthew explained and displayed many of the operational characteristics of the truck. Following the test drive I provided credit info and agreed to purchase the truck. Matthew was welcoming, competent and professional throughout the process. I had looked at so many places and the car wasn’t ready, there were multiple issues with the car, or they were hard to get in touch with (some did harass you). I am a single mom of 3 and driving to these car places and dealing with the stress of buying a car with a crying infant has been so overwhelming I was ready to throw in the towel. However, I was given the name of this dealership to try by a couple people who only buy their cars from here and now I honestly know why. The service is A+++. Just above and beyond. Working around my schedule, driving to me on my lunch break to let me test drive the car since I was close by (so I didn’t have to lug my 3 kids there) after work, and even delivering the car with all the paperwork ready to go. Patti made this experience so smooth and was so helpful and very thorough. I don’t plan on buying another car for a long time (as I love mine!) but when I do I 100% will buy one from here. And I have told everyone I know how great they are. Wish I had came here first!
