There is no admission fee. The park contains trails for pedestrians and trails for bicycles, all well marked and with no steep grades. Benches were located throughout the walking trails, which meandered through woods, by marshes, and on boardwalks over waterways. Informative signs containing QR codes were posted which identified trees and birds of the trail. A portion of the trail allows for foot access to the famous Smithfield Station.
