We ended up here because hippo hop was closed, upon entering we were excited as we were the only family there. it was $12 per child which is a bit high for the small space, and the time limit they give. at Hippo Hop it is $9 for my toddlers and unlimited time. the staff/owners are not kid friendly, they watch you extremely hard and make you uncomfortable. my 2 year old toddler wandered into the 0-18 section and as I was taking him out of that section one of the owners proceeded to walk over and tell him he couldn't be in there even though I was already taking him out. she then rudely pointed at my 16 month old asking if he was 18 months and locked him in there alone as I asked her not to because he would freak out because I was not in there with him. for a "indoor toddler playground" they don't even allow you to toss diapers in the bathroom trash can although they will quickly tell you they have a changing pad. I will not be bringing my toddlers back here, definitely prefer Hippo Hop. They won't even give your kids an old balloon if you politely ask.
update: you can clearly see how rude they are from their responses. the $12 was not above my budget, as previously stated I said I did not like the fact that it was priced a bit higher than hippo hop for a smaller venue and a limited time slot. I can read and comprehend extremely well, my 2 year old cannot and the gate was left open by one of your employees. we were the only family there when that happened and I was retrieving my child. I considered the gate LOCKING, because once she closed it after I asked her not to.. my 16 month old was unable to get out and began to panic as I said. also, invest in a diaper genie or keep diaper bags already in the restroom since this is your rule and this is a toddler playground, that would help...
Read moreAs much as I wanted to love this place, I simply didn’t. I remained kind throughout the entire process; however reviews are here to help other people.
I booked my party for this past Sunday, almost 2 months in advance. I had several conversations with Savannah about what I expected and how I wanted things to go. She assured me for the hefty PRICE this would really be a tailored party. It was not.. it actually was insanely embarrassing. Jasmine (her mom who she leaves in charge during her absence) was NOT friendly upon my guest entering. 20 mins left in our party, she came and started cleaning up the room while we were still eating. I mean taking the centerpieces down, grabbed our food and started “consolidating.” When asked to stop she called Savannah and decided to complain as if WE were the problem. I spoke with Savannah & initially I simply listened before saying too much because she was again absent. She apologized and left it there. My guest felt rushed and ultimately rushed out the building. I ended up forgetting a bag because Jasmine made things so uncomfortable placed the goodie bags by the front door and essentially told us to leave. Later in the day, Savannah gave me an $80 refund, which again I appreciate. However for the amount of money we spent, our party was cut short, we were mishandled and as Savannah said “mismanaged.” & only given an $80 so sorry on an almost $800 party. I am left with such a bad taste in my mouth, I simply cannot recommend. I have been a party planner for years and I have never and would never handle any of my customers this way.
Pros: •Adorable party set up •cute space
Cons: •Jasmine is EXTREMELY rude Instead of getting a parent she removed (yes, grabbed him!) a child off the play area. •There’s no real direction as far as party flow •NOT...
Read moreThe customer service here was horrible. Which is unfortunate because it had all the potentials to be a new weekly playhouse spot for my daughter. I drove 45mins with my 18months daughter for what I thought would be a great daddy/daughter date but left after 15mins because of the unpleasant experiences. The first issue was I had to take my baby socks off because she slipped and hit her face twice. The receptionist ask me to put it back on but I explained to her the slides were too slippery with socks. Her response was “well I’ll have to ask my manager because it’s a liability for if she doesn’t have on socks and she falls”. (Even tho they make you sign a waiver) This was a dumb response because as I mentioned to her, that was the very reason I took the socks off. Common sense should tell her the slide would be more slippery with socks than barefoot. Secondly, my daughter is 18months and she was placed in the section for kids 18m+, which I was ok with but she kept running over to the 0-18m section. She showed more interest in the 0-18m section because she is more familiar with the items there than the items in the big kids section. Since there was literally only 2 children total in the whole place, I asked the receptionist if she could try the 0-18m section and her response was, “she’s 18months so she can’t go in that section, we have rules”. At this point I just packed my things up and left. It would cost ZERO dollars to be pleasant and allow my 18m daugther in the 0-18m section. The place was empty and was a not a big deal but the staff rather us not have a pleasant experience. I really wanted to like this place so I can have my daughters 2nd bday here and more so have a new spot for our weekly play dates but unfortunately I will never...
