Gave this place another chance, and it seems to be back to their beginning when the food was great. Today, we had red, green, and raja tamales. All were excellent. Also had some campechano tacos and they were also very good. The two attendants were very friendly and professional. They were the ones working the restaurant when we began visiting. Employees like them, who care, make you feel welcome with the great service. Back to 5 stars.

Update: I went back a few times without issues. Went for lunch today, January 10, and it was a disappointment. Ordered a green tamal and a quesadilla. The tamal was so dry that half of it was unedible and the quesadilla was cold, and the cheese not even melted. Mentioned it to the waitress, who I had never seen before, and she said said she would take care of it. I did it privately as there were other patrons and didn't want anyone to get a bad impression of the food. She never came to the table and didn't take care of anything. Complete disregard of customer service. I call minutes after leaving to ask why she didn't take care of the issues. She stated that she spoke with the kitchen staff, but they didn't do anything, and that one of the cooks shift was over. No one cared at all. Very disappointing as we even ordered food from them for our Christmas party. We always had dealings with another waitress who is very efficient and friendly. I believe this would not have happened if she was on duty. The picture of the nachos and tamal are from previous visits. The quesadilla one is from today, so you can see the difference in food quality. Went from 5 stars to 3.

New very organized supermarket. The restaurant has amazing food. A hidden jewel. Tamales are great, tacos are awesome, and the nachos are superb. Great...

Otro robo Agosto 18, 2023. En la caja te marca el precio, pero en la máquina de tarjeta le aumentan, en la caja $2.86, en la tarjeta $2.94. Again another $3.69 plus tax taken from me today August 17, 2023. I asked him if the chicharrón was fresh or if it was old from the day before they closed for a week. He said it was today's but when I tasted it, it was horribly old. This man has no integrity or honesty. They charged me an extra .29 cents for lemons but I didn't have lemons, so I have to assume that they put this extra charge to everyone just to get more for nothing. Another day had a charge for $16.00 for "abarrotes". This time i was not paying attention, i saw the receipt days later . Went in again and another cashier charged me $1.09 for Epazote that I didn't have, so this time I said something, the guy said he confused the Parsley which was $0.90. They have good merchandise but you have to be very careful at the register. And please clean your "tripa" before...

I came in on the grocery side and was greeted immediately in Spanish and English, so I responded in Spanish. The restaurant is to the left of the store . My waiter also greeted me in Spanish and English, which I loved. My waiter was extremely attentive to us . She knew my Spanish was limited so her communication with me...
