Wow!! What a horrible experience at the Kohl's in Snellville. Where to begin...I'll start with the good. We have been Kohl's customers for over 15 years and have not had any unfortunate experiences like we did today (Sunday, 11/5/17). My son visited the store today with a friend and selected his clothes and went to check out. The Kohl's card is in his mother's name and the cashier noted this. When the manager was called the manager, John (aka Drew) refused to let him use her card. Now I understand that and can appreciate that they noticed a male teenager was using a card with a female name however, he has used her card NUMEROUS times in the past with no issue. My son explained that was his mother's card and attempted to show Drew his license to show the names and address matched that on the account. Drew refused to look at the information presented to him and he refused to go just one step further to help resolve this. My wife spoke with Drew over the phone and Drew was very unhelpful and short with her. He would not look at her account, that they have easy access to, to see that his information matched that of the account. Drew actually threaten to take actions against his employees if he discovered whom let him use the card in the past. Drew told her that the only way this would be resolved was for her to come to the store, show her ID and she would be allowed to check out. An hour later she arrived at the store to meet with Drew but he conveniently had left the store. My wife was able to finish the transaction with another manager, Stephanie. BUT WAIT ITS NOT OVER....When my wife got home I went on-line to check the account and Kohl's charged my account THREE times for the same amount!!!! They charged the card three times for the same amount within less than a minute and a half. I called the 800 number for Kohl's and spoke with Tony about this. He saw where the charges had been made and agreed that it looked like it was a repeat charge but he would not do anything about it since it was pending. He said I had to go back to the store to void them. I called the store and spoke with Stephanie again and she said she could not void anything because she was showing only one charge for that amount. She said the store was having computer issues and to just wait and see if the charges drop off. Are you kidding, after the NON-customer service of Drew today and then charging my account three times the amount they actually asked me to TRUST them!!! Today was a major failure in customer service for Kohl's. I hate this because we have been customers of theirs...
Read moreEverything was wonderful, we got many Christmas presents for friends and family at very good prices. But one cashier ruined all the fun. Her name was Selma. We had kohlâs cash and she said it wouldnât work with our coupon. We were okay with that, we were nonchalant and said âoh, thatâs okay. weâll just keep the kohlâs cash for next time.â She said âIt wonât work but I can try anyway.â We agreed. She tried and it didnât work. She then said âSee, I told you it wouldnât work but you didnât listen!â When she saw the amount of things we had, she looked at us and at the line behind us and said âIâm just gonna take sweet my time bagging ALL this stuff.â And the cherry on top of this terrible experience with Selma was that she tried to say a couple who had been in line for 20 minutes behind us was never in line. She said to them, âIâve been watching this line the whole time, Iâve never seen either of you! I hope youâre not in line because the line starts all the way back there. Youâre not in line.â And we said âWe saw them, theyâve been behind us this whole time weâve been checking out.â She kept saying that we were all wrong and that all of us were lying, including the two people who were waiting, until other people also jumped in and said we were all telling the truth. She then finally decided to believe us. We saved a lot of money and got many good gifts, but the good experience was ruined by...
Read moreIâve been going to the store since I was a child and now I am an adult that still goes here from time to time because they seem to have good deals. My experience here today was just like any other day, fine I guess, but I was followed around by what I believe was a loss prevention officer for a good 20 minutes. I believe strongly this is because Iâm heavily tattooed but maybe it was just because they were bored. I was in the childâs apartment looking for Christmas pajamas for my daughter and the same I believe security officer (middle aged white woman with a bad bob haircut) was right on top of me( literally less than 2 feet away) the entire time making me incredibly uncomfortable. I intentionally went down random isles to make sure that they were in fact following me and obviously they were because they donât make it very secretive. She followed me all the way into the shoe department when I was looking for a price checker and when I started to turn around she ran into me and I just couldnât contain my frustration anymore. I went off on her and she quickly left the area that I was in with wide eyes and a stuttering explanation as to what she was doing. I donât know if this was loss prevention or if it was just a customer doing some sketchy stuff but I am not the one. I just wanted to put this out there to make everyone more aware of their...
