100+/5 stars. Not enough stars to do this place justice, honestly.
Let me start with the service: upon entering, I was greeted with a warm smile and "how are you doing?" that I was taken aback, thinking, "what did I do to deserve this level of friendliness?" Very warm, super hospitable, and they're generous with any extra additions such as sauces. Always willing to give out free refills or extra sauces just to enhance my dining experience and make it more pleasurable, for which I'm super grateful 🙏 .
And then the food. I was very curious to try this place due to the notoriety of the smoky fried rice — almost to the point it's become an urban legend that people whisper it like it's the world's best kept secret, but it has spread like a wildfire that it's got people's mouths watering 4 cities over — I mean, I drove an hour to eat here and wasn't disappointed — in fact, I've never experienced such gastronomic ecstasy from a wing spot around Atlanta before. The fried rice: smoky, flavorful, hearty — delicious all around.
The wings — oh my, don't get me started. My mouth is watering as I am remembering this fantastic flavorful experience. I asked for them to turn up the spice, and it reminds me of a better version of Zaxby's "Insane" wings that was discontinued (and the reason I stopped eating there), so I was pleased to have this spicy wing fix yet again. The Philly cheese steak — dear God... I thought I WAS in the heart of Philadelphia for a moment. Just one bite as my taste buds absorbed and processed the flavor literally teleported me through some extra-dimensional vortex to land me inside the Lincoln Financial Field Stadium yelling "Go Eagles!" The fries, the sauces — my personal favorite, the ginger sauce — very yum — all come together with the entrees to paint this beautiful picture of classic meals and delicious food that evokes tears from admiring its beauty.
In all seriousness, this place is great — great food, great service. What more could you ask for? Highly...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to try this place for hte first time today. We stopped in for lunch, the place was fairly empty about 2 pm. We both ordered the Korean BBQ bowls mine with brown rice, his with white. We proceeded to order on drink to share was told that we were no allowed to share drinks. When I said, yea, it's so they don't loose profit, the lady at the register replies thank you for understanding. I was speechless, which doesn't happen often. When sodas a hugely up marked from the actual cost of the drink, I was surprised she was worried about cents instead of dollars. I don't think I've ever been told that I could not share a drink before. My husband ordered just one drink anyways and we shared it, under the glaring eyes of the cashier. When our bowls were ready, we went back up the counter to retrieve them, came back and started to sample them. The taste was ok to me. I have had Korean BBQ in different places and it was much more flavorful and tasty. To me, it tasted like the BBQ sauce had been diluted in the cooking, like when you cook meat at home in a pan or pot and it has extra liquid that can dilute the taste of your sauces. The rice had a slightly under cooked texture. Overall it was just ok for us. It is a place we have decided to not...
Read moreOk so this past Father’s Day weekend we had a crazy cool day and decided to go to the pool and enjoy some libations. Which led to my Husband wanting chicken wings. Our neighbors told us about this place and we had just enough time to place an order and pick it up. Staff answered quickly and took our order. They also waited for us to get through Saturday night traffic to get there. We order nuclear, garlic Parmesan, hot honey garlic pepper and Carolina wing sauces. Our favorite by far is the hot honey garlic pepper and nuclear (which by the way for hot wing people is more like hot vs nuclear ). Place was super clean (they are renovating and say they will start letting people dine in soon). Dong (yes that is his name) is one of the new owners and made sure all of our food looked as expected before packing the boxes into bags. We ordered the 60 piece/ 4 wing sauces and blue cheese dip. Oh and some season salt fries! Fries were salted at my request. This will now be our go to wings place since moving on this side of town. Picture is after we already started eating because we...
