Ordered chili dog - hot dog was burnt on one end. It appears as though this is normal? I don't like burnt food!
Ordered a mint Oreo shake it did not taste minty at all
Ordered a caramel cheesecake shake. I guess it's not supposed to have cheesecake bits in it? Oh wait, I found two cheesecake bites at the bottom of the shake.... No straws in the bag, no napkins in bag
The cookout Restaurant near me generally has quite a long drive-thru line. I get it, they have a lot of different choices, their pricing is decent and their shakes... Enough said.
Tonight was my second time eating from Cookout Restaurant. It was the Sunday night about 10:30 p.m. The restaurant was hopping and I can't imagine that's easy to maintain a team of teenagers!
I ordered chili dog, onion rings, and mint Oreo shake and for my friend a caramel cheesecake shake. No straws in the bag, no napkins in bag! And the bill was $14.11. kind of costly considering the disappointing quality.
The chili dog: the hot dog was burnt on one end. It appears as though this is normal? I don't like burnt food!
This was the first time I've ordered onion rings. If you prefer to have your onion rings consisting of chopped onions, this is not the restaurant for you. Instead, the onion rings were solid onions all the way around. They tasted good.
I ordered a mint Oreo shake & it did NOT taste MINTY AT ALL
My friend ordered a caramel cheesecake shake. I guess it's NOT supposed to have CHEESECAKE BITS in it? Oh wait, she found two cheesecake bites at the bottom of the shake....
I simply will not order onion rings or a chili dog in the future. But I do feel that the shakes should have tasted 1) MINTY & 2) have cheesecake bits...
Read moreThis is my last time ever coming to this place. If i could give it zero stars i would. If you have hearing loss or any type of disability i strongly encourage you avoid this place. The staff is absolutely NOT disability friendly.
I came in on 5/28 to place an order inside. The person taking the order had a mask covering his face but was asking me questions that i couldn't understand due to my hearing loss. I explained to him that i can't understand what he is asking me because his mask is covering his mouth. I expressed that I read lips so i needed to see his mouth in order for me to understand him.
He proceeded to talk louder (through his mask) and started laughing when i told i wasn't understanding what he was saying because his face was covered.
I don't find anything funny about someone not understanding a question especially when that person is telling you they can't understand you because they have hearing loss.
I then explained to the gentleman what to do when someone with hearing loss has trouble understanding him and he proceeded to laugh it off!
If this establishment is going to hire the type of people that think it's funny to laugh at a person with hearing loss, i strongly suggest finding other eateries that respect and accommodate people with disabilities. Not only was this embarrassing considering the number of people that were in the establishment, but i felt disrespected!
I'll be sure to reach out the manager and tell him about the lack of sensitivity training and awareness from...
Read moreGreat place. Reminds me of chic fil a, due to the employee mannerisms. ("My pleasure".) Just wish they had a few more healthy options. I get it: good, QUICK, and inexpensive food at a convenient location. Just wish they had some alternatives to all the slightly heavy food (in terms of digestion). My tongue is sensitive to salt, so these fries chemically burn it every time, forcing me to counter it with a milkshake. Which, these shakes have never done me wrong. 10/10 every time they're right. Even the one day there was a trainee and they didn't mix it quite right, it was still drinkable. Unfortunately, to get less salt means waiting longer in line, since it has to be re-made. (I guess that's what's happening?) The sweet/unsweet mix is great. 9/10 times it's mixed just right. Sweet tea alone is probably great too, but just too sweet (personally) for me to judge accurately. The unsweet is just as you'd imagine; strong and bitter, just how it should be. As far as sodas go, no one complains, so it must be right. Burgers have always been decent. 9/10 times it's well assembled and has no problem. BBQ chicken sandwich is also good, I eat it regularly as a non-beef alternative, which is nice to have. Overall, a full meal for ~$5.20ish? No one can touch those prices. Food quality? Great, every time. Variety? Nice wide variety, just wish they had a healthier line of choices. Can't win every battle, but this...
