Honest&true: do not go to Dina .....an experienced stylist & very good @ her job told me leave it alone just dnt worry about it anymore...but after getting my hair done by my sister who has never done hair professionally & has only watched you tube videos did my hair (lace front) & when I say blew it out the park I had to leave this review. Btw my hair was gorgeous & looked like I spent salon price. I received so many compliments!! I cnt tell the whole story becuz it wld be too long. The lofts itself is always clean..so are the bathrooms. All the stylist are kind & professional to anyone who walks in, not just their clients (at least that's always been my experience. BUT please be aware of stylists who say oh yeah I can do that no problem or especially the ones who say I've been doing this 20+ yrs. And they say it over and over again. Got my hair done by Dina Galore (lace front for the 1st time ever) & it turned out to be a hot mess!! My hair looked horrible & guess what I had to go back to her to redo it. Two days later and she took out the lace front and re-did my hair. She just did a sew-in with leave out the second time. That wasnt even all that great. My hair wld have been done the very next day but her/my schedule wldnt permit. Now, she was very professional and respectful. The lace front just wld not lay down and kept rising and making ripples. She said it was because I'm not use to lace fronts and becuz it was my 1st time. Now, I'm not a stylist but that has absolutely nothing to do with her technique or method of application. She sewed it, she glued it nothing wld work. She finally got it to behave but by the time I got home it started messing up again. The service she performed on my head definitely did not reflect 20+ years of beauty experience. I was told my hair did not look good that was the feedback I received from others. I dont know if she had a bad day or not but I wld not recommend...
Read moreSince I've moved to Atlanta it's been extremely hard to find a stylist who genuinely care about the health of your hair. This will be the last time I'll be visiting Salon Lofts at this location. The stylist Rayna openly embarrassed me in front of a client about my hair thinning, asked me if I went to the Dr. and advise me not to do the protective style I requested. She ended up ONLY braiding my hair down charging me $75 total. Mind you, my mother in my hometown does hair and told me based off the pictures of my braids it appears as though the stylist just didn't want to do my hair. The braids are messy and uneven, nor did she offer to straighten my wig or to do any other styles after I asked her if there was anything she could do once she advised me not to do the protective style I wanted. I would have said more face to face but to keep myself from crying and the embarrassment was just ready to leave. No one deserves to feel unpretty, and embarrassed when spending their hard earned money...
Read moreRude and unprofessional. Scheduled an appointment online. Got a confirmation number and text. Was scheduled for noon with Dorian Brewster, show up on time to her loft and she asks me " What do you want"?.... Alittle put back by her rudeness.... I said "I'm looking for Dorian, I made an appt online" then she squenched up her face like she was offended by me somehow and said " For What?" At this point all 4 four of the other people in the room are staring at me like I have 3 heads... so I said "for a cut and color" and showed some woman standing next to me my confirmation text and number.. then Dorian said " well I didn't get a text, I usually get a text, and Im booked all day".... Never apologized, or even spoke to me in a processional manner, made me feel completely uncomfortable. What she should have done is overly apologized for my wasted time and tried to figure out what happened instead of treating me like I was the one who did...
